    Did it occur to anyone that our DL is stacked, with Dame Harrison coming on strong as well as Kendrick Ellis. Dixon was expendable, get over it

    Mr.T is not an accountant, he's an atty. dixon was expendable and they picked up a younger NT who has been playing lights out in pre-season

    Rex was a DL coach. I trust his input on the decision to cut Dixon in favor of Harrison and the new dude.

    Eric Smith, who's banged up, and Josh Bush? Allen outplayed Bush in the Preseason.

    Question shouldn't be why Allen and not Chaz, question should be why Allen and not Dennis Landlot. NINE OL? Absurd.

    Did you actually watch the games? Allen did not outplay Bush. Allen was exposed in coverage. I'll trust Rex's evaluation of their talents.

    I really am hoping we add a RB... I just can't see us entering the season with 3 RBs, one who is currently injured, and none who are great. I would honestly be pretty shocked if we don't.

    Allen is trying to learn how to be a SS and Schilens is a big, fast pass catcher who blocks well. The best place to learn how to play SS is on the PS, especially when we have excellent depth already at SS. In a Ground and Pound Offensive scheme a blocking receiver on the outside is mandatory. Secondly a fast receiver that can stretch the defense helps open holes for the run game!

    how is that being fair? graduating w/a degree in accounting doesn't mean you are an accountant. he is a lawyer, not an accountant.

    I've been reading that probably Landolt (who's injured) will be put on this new kind of IR where it's possible to activate him after wk 7. But you can only do this from Tuesday and he has to be on the active roster... I'm guessing this is why we're keeping him around.
