Someone who can't even get a pic to work shouldn't be calling someone else stupid! LOL.

This is why it's not a bad idea to trade all your late pics to move up in the draft in rounds 1-2-3 to get the player(s) you really really want. Like when we moved up to get Hill in round 2.

If I were a GM, I'd trade ALL my picks every year, even my 1st round picks, to end up with 4 or 5 2nd round pics. Every player on my team, even 2nd string, would be above avg. True, I wouldn't have a Revis, but I wouldn't have a WFH either. Just a solid across the board team with no weaknesses.

That's so awesome. Contribute to a discussion or go away Sunshiner.

    Your posts consist of, "Wahhh....SOJF."

    Or, "Wahhhh....someone criticized the Jets."

Argue the points you contend with or go away.

Conflicting assessments on line. Here is one from Draft Insider before the 2011 draft:

    Konrad Reuland
    School: Stanford
    Position: TE
Bio: Notre Dame transfer used as a part-time starter the past two seasons. Senior totals included 21/209/1 after 6/142 as a junior.
Positive: Nice sized tight end who is best as a blocker. Quickly gets off the line, stays square, and is strong at the point of attack. Works to bend his knees, shows good vision, and stays with assignments. Blocks down well on opponents. Uses his hands to get separation from opponents and effectively adjusts to the errant throw catching the ball.
Negative: Displays marginal quickness. Fights the ball and unnecessarily lets passes get inside him. Not fluid in his movements.
Analysis: Reuland is a size prospect who could make a roster as a third tight end brought onto the field in short-yardage situations.

Will we sign one more to the practice squad or save another ~5K against the cap?

As if someone who can't post a pic successfully would be able to understand a coherent argument?!

Again..........backing off an argument. Contribute to a debate or discussion. You add nothing.

Like a petulant little child you had to respond!

P.S. It's better to be a sunshiner than a sad old man like you who has a pathetic past and no future!

Source says Jets put in conditional claims on T Steven Baker, LB DJ Bryant, RB Jonathan grimes, OL Hayworth Hicks + WR Jermaine Kearse.

Is it too early to vote this for thread of the year?

I still don't get why people are getting mad at the "Sunshiners"....I personally think its silly to get so worked up over these cuts. Yeah could these picks have been used better? Sure I guess if we're really nitpicking.

But we're bringing in people that Sparano is familiar with and is comfortable with dating back with his days in Miami. I think people get way too crazy when it comes to their own teams prospects. Why hold onto an inferior player when you can get someone else's talent who may very well be better?

It'd be nice to see a Jets draft pick emerge and stud out but its just the same if we take someone else's player(Ala Maybin and maybe Jason Smith) and have them become a useful Jet. Too much emphasis on our own draft picks. For the 1st 4 rounds this works but for rounds afterwords, its really reaching when your looking for talent outside the RB/WR spots unless its for a kicker or punter or some snapper.

Only one I truly know is Kearse(From Washington Huskies) and I don't really care too much for him. When I was on my Jake Locker watch tour, Kearse was a main culprit for huge drops. Had I believe 8 or so drops in a single game. To his credit, he stepped his game up Senior year after Locker left(When I didn't watch for anyone, including Polk somewhat) but I don't think he can really hang on the NFL level. I'd be fine with him as a practice squad player though.

I am shocked by Antonio Allen being waved! I thought he had a good preseason and was the future along with bush at the safety position. He played physical and flew to the ball, this was the most upsetting cut to me thus far

Bush was a 6th rounder (187 over all) and made the team. Do you really think our talent is so bad that we need a bunch of 6th/7th round guys?

Coverage skills left a lot to be desired. Since he fell immensely in the NFL Draft, I really hope Allen latches onto our PS and develops his pass coverage because if so, he can be a real talent moving forward.
