Of course we should be going after a running back. Greene with LT hardly lit it up last year..do you really think Greene with Powell will? Greene's 65 yards a game hardly makes for rushing offense.
Saints need LB's, we need a RB. They have 5 RB's that would be #2 on this team and we have a ton of LBs. Give them McIntyre, Bellore or Mauga for Ivory... If we have to throw in a late round pick who cares, we cut 3 of our late round picks this year. And on the Greene subject- Greene is average in EVERY aspect. He's not above average in power, because honestly he's not a real power back. He has average speed, and thats being generous. He has below average vision (which is one of the most important quality in a RB), below average hands and agility. He fell into 1000 just like Beanie Wells did, we basically just gave him the carries.
I guess we are forgetting who our number 1 running back really might be. We migh see more and more formations with the big package up front and Green and Tebow in the back field for Sanchez to choose.
