I would agree, especially if the JETS offense does nothing in this preseason game tonight. Its the third preseason game and i want to see a TD or something positive on the first drive.
That's pretty brilliant. Who writes your material? The same guy that invented "I know you are, but what am I?" On a side note, anybody that trusts preseason results...well, they should not trust preseason results. That goes for the Jets, too.
It seems to me like at least half this board thinks the Jets season is over because of 2 preseason games, so I'll let you ponder about that. I just don't understand why people think the Bills are THAT much better than last year. It's not about preseason results. It's about their roster. I mentioned earlier that this is the first off season I remember where Bills fans have been this cocky.
According to Tim Kawakami's twitter they just acquired Tavaris Jackson. I wonder what this means for Young?
Because our defense was our biggest liability (particularly the line), and we made strides to correct it. We picked Marcell Dareus #3 overall last year, and he looked like the real deal basically playing on his own after Kyle Williams, who was not 100% in the first place, had to address a nagging bone spur issue with his ankle after 5 weeks. Kyle Williams is good, dude. Now we got him and Dareus in the middle and a guy named Mario Williams on the end. On the other side, we picked up another pass rusher in Mark Anderson to split time with Kelsay. Suddenly our biggest problem seems like it might be a major strength. We finally have a decent Defensive Coordinator in Dave Wannstedt. It's looking like the Bills had a couple of decent drafts in a row, with some up and comers ready to step up. We resigned key guys. We do have some good players, believe it or not. Buddy Nix is doing a good job turning this team around as GM, or so it would seem. To me, the biggest wildcard for this team is the QB, Fitzpatrick.
Once again I ask....why are my fellow bills fans on a jets board talking up our team? - We lost to the jets TWICE last year - There is not a jet fan here that is gonna agree with your take...... - If they were over on OUR board we would not agree with their takes..... Look the season is 11 days away and the bills will have every opportunity to prove they have turned the corner.......for christ sake stop doing this
Fitzpatrick is not a franchise QB, the defense still isn't good and will be fucked if Mario gets hurt again. Steve Johnson is a potential elite WR but is dumber than rocks. Fred Jackson is on the wrong side of 31 after that injury. Buffalo is overrated. 8-8 at the very best
Wow you Jet fans are go funny let's see Mark sanchez sucks going backwards in this career,Tim Tebow not franchise QB and getting him will make your QB problem worse. You got one good WR in santonio holmes and the rest suck heck your CB wants to play WR. Your running is average heck your whole offense is going to struggle this year it's weak I know your high on something your locker is split and your franchise is a mess and dysfunctional
Sanchez improved a ton between 09 and 2010. Last year he finished weak and still had a far better season than Fitzpatrick. No one cares if Tebow isn't a QB because he is a back up.
Hey I don't disgree that you improved. I just don't think it's enough to be concerned with. #19 against the pass is what's going to do you in, in this passing league. Your run defense will be better (was ranked 28th), but I don't see much improvement against the pass. Mario Williams helps, but it's not like it puts your D in the top 10 or anything like that. Your D has probably improved to about average at best. The Jets D is back to domination status. Easily top 3. I think we outmatch you pretty badly, although the matchup to watch will definitely be Howard vs Williams. I'm pretty sure that will define our offensive production.
