Yes, but if he has a history of making terrible picks and he picks against the Jets because of that doesn't that make it less likely the Jets will win?

No. If he has a history of making terrible picks and picks against the jets, that means the Jets will probably win the SB!

So this means that you and Champ are both in the same camp and the Jets are winners this year.

    Imagine that.

please for the love of god stop.

we get it...you are depressed and see nothing but darkness relating to this team...but please...spare us your one liner debbie downer's of zero substance.

    sincerely,

    every jets fan on earth

EDIT: Before anyone responds and says "don't speak for me", it's a figure of speech.

    ^^LOL

championjets69, if you're putting "experts" in quotes then you're inferring that their expertise is questionable - no argument here. Having said that, why then should you care that these 'experts' lumped the Jets in with the Browns & Bucs as also-rans? Who cares? And Mike Greenberg? ..... he's the guy who wore black socks in gym class.

You know who also wasn't making the super bowl -- the 9-7 Giants! Wait they won it? Shit it's hard to predict these things after the season ends let alone before it starts.

Love this from ESPzn - Giants played their starting offense against Pats 2nd team defense and managed less than nothing:
The Patriots rested their starters, but the Giants actually played theirs –- what remained of their first team with several starters resting -- into the beginning of the second quarter. The offense looked sluggish. But it really doesn't mean anything for the starters, as the Giants just need to stay healthy entering the season opener next Wednesday.

If the point was to just stay healthy why play them? The point was to get some points on the board to gain some momentum -- of course that only counts for the green guys in NY.

Oh shit, the football Gods just gave their verdict I guess. They've been unkind to the Jets for four decades now.

Anyone know of a good bridge to jump off?

Champ, are these the same or different experts who you referenced the day D'brick was drafted and claimed he would be a bust?

D'bust is 0-5 in bringing the VLT to the NYJ, therefore not worth the #4 pick.

The best part of all this is that it means absolutely nothing.

Yes those same experts. Greeny did not expound of which ESPN experts were polled on this question however. Greeny like me was ONLY relaying info & he himself would never have said that IMHO buuuuuuuuuuuut he has certainly swung way over from positive to at the very least somewhat negative about this team

Oh BTW Brick is just very average to below average so they were far more correct then the experts on this board

Hey I wish I had Mike & Mikes bully pulpit cause until I was fired I would be a fire blowing dragon towards Woody, RR & the majority of the NYJs players & just maybe I would stimulate them in finally excelling which they have not done since Woody has become the owner. Maybe as more & more STHers desert the NYJs & give up there STH the management of the NYJs will begin to smarten up other then that I see no solution to continue ineptness of the NYJs which started way back with Hess & continues to this day with Woody

Also I am not "depressed" as you alleged & as a MOD you should not accuse someone of something when you have NEVER/EVER met that person you are accusing. For that I think you owe me a apology. I am just giving you my HO of what I think of the 2012 NYJs no different then U do if you do not like my posts or threads just pass them by which will take away any stress you may incur when reading my posts. TIA:sad:

I always thought the term was 'fire breathing dragon'. Fire... blowing... dragon. Kind of kinky.
