Cro is looking like he did his rookie campaign. Love seeing it. Laying the wood and putting hiss helmet on the ball every chance.

    Cple good break ups too

Cromartie can cover anything.....except child support payments.

figured this thread could use a good child joke because alot of bad ones will be finding their way here.

during practice on thursday I watched cromartie practice HOLDING his own guys.
Unreal, this guys should figure out how to tighten his play without fouling players play after play.
The amount of fouls that WILL be called on him should be of NO surprise at ALL.
Before ALL the lovers of this guy step to tell me how great he his lets see what happens in the first few games.

One of the best plays of the game was on third down when Newton tried to hit that out pattern and Cro stepped in front of it, obviously in man coverage. That shows what the Jet D is all about, despite what the Cro Haters here say in their ignorance.

Cromartie looked like a completely different player last night in terms of physicality. It was refreshing to see.

Aside from that awesone play on the ball on that sideline route, he still can't cover a short route to save his life, however.

I guess no one saw him bitch out and wiff on that tackle and then wiff out on the loose ball on the same play...lol

But other than that, he had a nice game... let's be real though. The guy doesn't like contact.

he needs to play like this during the regular season when a RB is running towards him.

    THIS^^

I'd be much more impressed when he stops a guy like Fred Jackson running with a full head of steam at him.

Oh, of course I saw him arm-tackle that back in the first series, that was classic Cro, terrible technique. He did catch the point of the ball with his forearm, which was kind of a saving grace, but it ended up being moot.

That's the Cro that I expected for the rest of the game, but I kept being pleasantly surprised by his aggressive play. I hope the latter Cromartie is the one we get all season, but I think we know he'll regress at least a few times, likely more.

Cromartie is the most underrated player on the Jets in my opinion, mainly because Darrelle Revis has spoiled us all with regards to good cornerback play.

The main criticisms of Cromartie are true -- he does take too many penalties, and he is a pussy -- but that doesn't invalidate his coverage and playmaking abilities.
