This nfl network "look in" is bullshit. They show themselves talking as much as they show the games. We aren't watching to see or even listen to you talk. Assholes.
I like what I see from the Bills so far. Inept on offense, anemic on defense. This bodes rather well. Hope it stays that way come the first game of the season.
Actually... on a serious note. If preseason games (that 1st teams showed) are any indicator... that game will go to whoever that sucks less on the game day. It will be an ugly game.
Well obviously giving pressure up the middle isn't any better than giving it up off the edge. But the fact that Solder showed so much improvement is a great sign for the offensive line. Our other tackle, Marcus Cannon, looked terrible, but he isn't projected to start. Vollmer has already rejoined the team in practice, and will certainly start the season opener. Logan Mankins also just returned from injury, and wasn't given many snaps in last night's game. Basically, a lot of the pressure being given up was being allowed by players who are not projected to be our starters. The left tackle position was our biggest question mark going into last night's game. Solder looked shaky in some of the earlier games, even though he was very good at RT last year. We know that Vollmer can be a very effective RT. Other than that, the only real obstacle will be replacing Brian Waters at RG (if he doesn't return). I really don't see that being a problem. By all accounts, the interior OL is a position of strength and depth on this team. The fact that some of them played poorly last night doesn't shake my confidence. Ideally, Koppen will return to his starting position at C, and Connolly will play at RG as he did in 2010. Our starting lineup will be LT Solder, LG Mankins, C Koppen/Connolly, RG Waters/Connolly, RT Vollmer. None of those players scare me as starters as long as Solder proves that he can make the switch.
Watching Schitty's offense in St. Louis' at work. 3 and outs, 4 and outs, a penalty. Bradford hits one pass. It take a fake punt for them to run more than 4 plays on a drive.
Peyton Manning looked like vintage Manning on that drive. Also took a huge hit and popped right up and started running no huddle. The broncos are going to be really hard to beat this year.
Whoever told Joe Buck to grow a beard deserves a gold medal (assuming, of course, that he was trying to humiliate him.) And, frankly, a worse QB (Bradford has been overrated since college.)
He looked great - 10/12 122yds and 2 TDs I bet the niners must've been watching that and feeling pissed having come so close to getting him.
