The Jets need to play more disciplined than they did last year and so far this preseason. Avoid turnovers and stupid penalties.
Ideally a majority of the Jets turnovers will come on deep passing plays. Not saying you want any turnovers but if that's the source of them then at least we're taking shots downfield. Every team in the league will turn the ball over eventually. It would be really great if the Jets finish top 10 in turnover ratio.
They strayed away from that formula last year. They tried to be a passing offense, they also fumbled 43 times -most in NFL.
Oh, I do actually. Everybody does. You're like that special needs kid mopping the hall at the end of the day, just waiting for people to walk through so you can make small talk. You want to be like the regular people so badly. It's cute.
I dont think theyve ran one play action play this preseason, which is one reason why I think the offense will improve a lot because that is one of Sanchez's strongest areas. We are obviously going to use play action a good amount and with it be a better offense.
Bills just cut/waived David Clowney. From PFT: Bills make 10 moves, get to roster limit Posted by Darin Gantt on August 26, 2012, 5:03 PM EDT David Clowney AP The Bills announced that they placed tight end Mike Caussin on reserve/PUP, and released nine players to get to the 75-man limit. They cut journeyman wide receiver David Clowney, along with cornerback Prince Miller, who spent time on their practice squad. Clowney’s speed has never translated into steady NFL work, as he’s bounced through Packers, Jets and Panthers camps.
Bills trying to make magic happen with our ex players. Jealousy's a mofo! Too bad they failed and we cashed in.
And the year before and the year before that ... granted we had Damien Woody and Brad Smith then. But we have Brad Smith II now and he may be better.
Again, this ain't any other year. In the second Bills/Jets game last year, it was anybody's game. Stevie Johnson dropped the game-winning pass too. This ain't the same Bills d-line by a longshot. I figure they should be pretty stout against the run, especially if the LBs fill in their gaps. Also, only two teams were worse than the Jets as far as yards-per-carry last year. They were 20th in points allowed. These stats aren't conducive to a ground-and-pound team.
