No my point was u don't have a 10mil man as a back up. Now if he made the same as Tebow I say yes they do keep Sanchez.
I guess the Jets are trying to find their backup QB for Sanchez... so they will take a good long look at McElroy and Simms.
I've heard that theory clung to by a lot of Tebow's detractors -- that he's not really the backup QB. Mark Schlereth said he expects McElroy to finish out the season if Sanchez gets hurt. No, really. He did.
I have my fingers crossed he is right. [But seriously, if you are to believe the Jets FO, Tebow is an offensive gadget and not the backup QB. So logically, it falls to McElroy or the further development of Tebow.]
Seriously, if I'm to believe everything from the Jets organization, he's also the backup QB. But I understand, your opinion is shared by many. I.e. that McElroy is better at playing quarterback than Tebow, etc. The goalposts will move again once it becomes obvious in hindsight that that was never the case.
