MJD or Wallace IMO. I think MJD would be a tremendous fit in Indy. But frankly, Wallace would probably be better long term. He's an absolute burner and Luck to Wallace would instantly become a premier connection.
Rex loves his CB's, Wilson is not going anywhere. I could see them trading an ILB (Mauga or Bellore), but neither them are going to get a lot in return.
No where anywhere is there any link to the Jets in any of these tweets related to the Colts. GMC is an idiot who was making random leaps by adding Wilsons name into things. There IS NO LINK to the jets at all. And lord knows there is absolutely 0 chance of Rex agreeing to trade Revis right now.
Wilson covers the slot receiver...one of the hardest receivers to cover....Wilson ain't going anywhere. Cro is our 2nd best receiver on the team AND crushed/flattened Santonio 'cry baby' Holmes, breaking ever rib in his body. That alone means Cro is a Jet for life.
"Irsay says Colts contemplating serious trade" Hmmm I don't think the Colts have anything the Jets really need. But if the Jets can sneak in there in a three way trade with Kyle Wilson and the Jets get MJD or Wallace thats works pretty well for me. I woulld like to see the Jets improve their offensive talent and if it costs them Kyle Wilson so be it.
Draft picks? Seriously? Colts got him by just trading down 15 spots in the 6th round. Unless you are talking about a 7th rounder in 2013 and a 7th rounder in 2014, we aren't trading away multiple draft picks for someone worth a crap.
I think it pretty much happened while he spent his first two years developing his first round talent while studying the techniques of the best CB tandem in the NFL. Just a guess. He was good in coverage last year and should only get better
Lol it won't be. Even if he's gotten better, Wilson is not a vet starter worth multiple picks and the delineation of a "serious trade.". Watch out for MJD though. /thread
Wallace would be quite the grab for Indy. Sign him to a long term deal and provide Luck with a steady set of weapons to grow with. I rue the day the Jets gave up on Braylon Edwards.
well as it stands now the colts offense may be ahead of the jets.....if they add another weapon that would be great for luck. man i still cannot get over the colts QB luck over the last 2 decades. first manning and now luck. geez. how many jet QB's have thrown the ball in that time? too many.
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that any Revis trade would involve crippling cap penalties.
It would indeed, and frankly there is nothing indy can offer the jets that would make the deal of Revis worth it, save for Andrew Luck, and they would never give him up for Revis.
Revis would likely require a package that Indy couldn't afford to give... say... 1st round pick OT Dwight Freeney
