Why does the Jets coaching staff have such a difficult time coaching up their players? Do Hunter, Sanchez, Tebow, etc. really suck so badly, or is it the coaching staff?
how is this fucking possible? seriously, sign a fucking Luchadore to be right tackle. Anyone but this fucking numbnut
someone should make a list of people who they say wont be replaced and then gets replaced immediately after. it would be a pretty decent list.
Yep, this is what they say every time. The article is evidence that they are looking. However, they might be partially telling the truth. They don't want to completely replace Hunter, they may want to keep him as a backup and for depth purposes. We just don't want him starting.
They obviously need to try and not shatter Hunter's confidence completely incase they can't do a deal and are stuck with him as the starter.
sorry, but mickey mouse organization if they think the ol "this guy is our guy" line is still working against other teams. this aint monopoly
On them seeking Hunter's replacement, Rex said "I don't believe that to be an accurate statement..." What do you mean "I don't believe"? You mean you don't know whether Tannenbaum is shopping for a RT? Either it's an accurate statement or it isn't. I can't believe WH wasn't cut in the offseason, along with the great E Smith. At least E Smith is useful in run support and on special teams.
Austin Howard took 62 percent of first-team snaps at right tackle in 11on11s (18 of 29 snaps). Wayne Hunter took the rest. #nyj
Except everyone knows they're desperate and needs to replace him. I think it would be more out of concern for Hunter's pysche if they can't replace him.
why?if howard can actually play and they don't have to sign someone that is extra cap space and a young player who saves a draft pick next year
