Almost no chance that it would happen, but MJD is open to a trade. Would really put this offense where it needs to be with him.

Would love to have him but we cannot fit him under cap.

Can't block for him either. He'll simply run into Moore or Slauson on one side or never get out of the backfield at all. Besides, What would Tannenbaum give up? A better question might be, who is on the Jet's roster that anyone would want to trade for except Mangold and Revis?

Jets don't need another RB since the first priority is replacing the RT.

He has too much mileage on his legs and we have 4 young backs already. And if we cannot block for mjd,Then whats the point.

Just because they are young doesnt make them good.

not going to happen...under any circumstance...cannot afford...and without a viable offensive line it wouldnt help much.

I'm not sure the cap would be a problem, didn't we have like $8 mil in cap room leftover? The problem is it would probably cost a first, which I wouldn't do, but if it's a second or less I think it would be a great move. He'd be a perfect compliment to Greene and fit the team's commitment to the run. I'm also somewhat terrified of the Pats getting him.

Do you think they could get a first for a guy holding out and demanding a kings ransom? He deserves to be paid too.

For all of Tannys faults, you know the guy can make him fit somehow. I still think its a bad move bc we need a rt. if we can get both tho...

    Jets Salary Cap Limit: $130,071,600
    Current Jets Total: $124,250,493
    Current Estimated Cap Space: $6,000,202

Can we fit MJD under the cap? Maybe. Would I prefer getting two of a RT, S, and WR with that money instead? Yes.

What is your concern with the safety position? Injuries? Because the S position should be a strength this season.

The 6,000,202 cap space does not include the practice squad or 52+53 men on the roster. Plus if we don't use it, it rolls over and we need it.

no way we can afford MJD. Believe it or not there are future years beyond this one which would count against the cap.

Jets need Barry Sanders to run the ball. Lesser caliber RBs? Not a chance in a billion. Thank WFH.

Trader Mike needs to do something to shake up this offense because as constructed they just don't scare anybody and for good reason - zero playmakers.

we can't afford him. I don't see anything JAX would be interested in, besides Revis, Mangold or Brick.
