What was your reaction when Sanchez said he was "hot" before the pick six?

Can't blame you if you are being optimistic. I'm worried, but trying not to hit panic mode. I got suckered in last year and picked them to go 11-5. I fell in love with 2 straight AFC title games and ignored the obvious step backwards in offensive talent. I'm not making the same mistake this year. The O has a ton of holes, many of which are filled with poor players/average players/players with potential and minimal experience.

They may be keeping certain things under wraps, but the lack of talent, failure to replace Hunter, provide depth, or improve the O significantly, and Sparano's lack of OC experience will bite them sooner than later I'm afraid.

    1. That's called Happy Feet. Death knell for any young, promising QB. (Refer to: David Carr during his Texans days.)

    2. Roll him out? That means moving the pocket. Now where should he roll out to? Right? And run into blitz? Or left? and get someone run freely at Sanchez? With WFH fucking things up, that is not an attainable objective.

    3. Give me a QB that is accurate after taking 10+ beating a game. Tommy boy up in Foxboro does not qualify if you need any qualification.

There was nothing wrong with what he said. If he's pulling an 80% completion rate during the season, it's not going to matter if they are short passes or long. We will see success, and I'll still refer to him as "hot" on anyday he completes passes like that. People are just looking for excuses to pile on Sanchez 2 games into the preseason. "OMG! HE CALLED HIMSELF HOT IN THE INTERVIEW! WHAT A COCKY EGOMANIAC!!!" Jesus TF Christ people! It's not the end of the world! Sanchez saying he was playing decently in a game and went on a hot streak doesn't doom our season!
