Wow. Is it just me, or is the play-calling with Sanchez so far this preseason so much more conservative than with Tebow? I mean, they continue to throw behind the chains on third down, but they're letting Tebow do whatever he wants. Then again, it's just preseason. Or I'm right, maybe.

You can stand back there all day without JPP and Justin Tuck rushing the edges.

Pass protection is the difference. Not play calling

Maybe because tebow doesn't have jason pierre paul inserted in his ass while hill beats a lesser secondary?

You got way more issues than QB...Your oline sucks, Your WRs suck, and more importantly, your offensive coordinator is terrible.

Tebow was occasionally able to go deep because he could extend the play with his feet. Sanchez was mostly checking down because the pass protection was awful, and if I had to hazard a guess, the WRs aren't great either.

the biggest difference is one has to play with Hunter on the field and one doesn't.

Also you can't insult an OC on his playcalling in the preseason. That's just retarded

Tonight was NOT the Jet Offense we will see (and enjoy) week 1 against the Bills.

    - Zero, and i DO mean ZERO game planning. If Sparano called a running play and the Defense slid 11 men in the box, we still ran the running play tonight.
    - Our receiving core will be back on the field by then, unlike tonight. No more throwing to double teamed garbage cans.
    - WFH will be on another team then (PLEASE GOD).
    - Tebow will actually run something other than Mark's offense with 'real' players.

They have to get Sanchez out of the pocket more. Hunter is going to get him killed. At least if we can roll him out he can make plays on his feet. I'm not saying on every down, but when you run the ball and your down and distance is 2nd and 6 or 3rd and short play action roll him out and here is a chance to hit hill deep as hill will have time to get into the fade and if it's not there Sanchez should have enough vision to run or throw it away.

Shonn Greene never gets going early. He's a second half of the game running back and a second half of the season/ post season bruiser. He excels late in the season. We have 5 running backs, or something like that, who else can protect and run the football? Tebow?

People on offense need to start stepping up. Sporano should run a basic offense, but at least mix up direction and predictability. Offense has been bad for too long. We have to get our ahit together and be more productive.

The defense is ready. Our offense has to be better.
