Hey guys this is my first draft ever, so if it sucks that's why. I may have gotten a little too optimistic with my bench, but would like some input from people that have played a while. (Yahoo 10 man standard) QB - Peyton Manning RB - LeSean McCoy RB - Marshawn Lynch WR - Larry Fitzgerald WR - Antonio Brown WR - Eric Decker TE - Antonio Gates Defense - San Francisco Kick - John Kasay Bench: David Wilson (NYG - RB) Robert Griffin III (Was - QB) Nate Washington (Ten - WR) Ryan Williams (Ari - RB) Alshon Jeffery (Chi - WR) Dustin Keller (NYJ - TE)
Peyton is obviously slightly risky, but RGIII should be able to pile up TD's since he might run a few in. I haven't paid much attention to fantasy this year, but it looks solid to me.
Thats absolutely absurd With Wallace probably holding out 10 weeks, or at the least missing all of camp, Antonio Brown could put up incredible numbers. Antonio Gates the stud is dead (imo) now hes just mediocre. I think your lack of RB depth is gonna be a BIG problem. Your qb situation is just ok, but i think with RG3 youll be fine. Probably not a championship contender, but definitely not a bust draft. 1-2 good moves/fa acquistions and you can make things happen.
The reason I went that way with RB was 1) by week 1 or 2 I'll know if either Wilson is splitting carries with Bradshaw or Ryan Williams is healthy, and 2) because nobody took McGahee, who I think should be a solid backup. Manning's definitely a question mark as far as durability, but I think you're going to know real quick whether or not he's either out or the back-to-being-Peyton 16 game starter. That injury doesn't really leave any grey area. Just a general strategy question: Is there any point to having a backup tight end? Or should I just try and get McGahee, drop either DK or Gates, and pick one up just when I need him for the bye week?
Get McGahee as fast as you can, he's a starter and solid depth. Drop Alshon, for now. And with Gates you'll need a backup TE. He's super injury prone.
