The flat out crazy part I meant was that Stephen A would say that.

These gas bags do it for the attention just like Boomer. They'll change their tune shortly.

Sanchez has the keys to the offense unless the passing attack becomes totally impotent.....until then the wildcat will stay in the cage.

I am well aware that the anti-Tebow/anti-Tebow-fan crowd will hate this post, but I think it should be made...

Every sports show and media outlet is talking about it, yet supposedly us Tebow supporters who are behind some conspiracy of QB controversy.

When detractors look for "reasons" why Tebow is terrible, one thing that is often brought up is the sheer amount of sports/football analysts who say he is terrible. Apparently, those analysts are very smart and should be listened to.

But... when those analysts say Tebow should start (for whatever reason) all of a sudden the Tebow detractors say these analysts are crazy, or looking for attention.

When you have Stephen A. Smith saying Tebow gives the Jets the best chance to win, things are going to get ugly for the Jets and Sanchez.

Now look, I personally think Tebow is more exciting to watch, and as a fan I would start him. I also think he would take the Jets farther than Sanchez. I think that personally. However, I don't think Sanchez should lose his job unless he comes out and underperforms. I think it is possible for the 2 QB system to work, though I don't think it will last if either one of them struggles. The Jets will revert to a 1 QB system in that case.

And all this crap is why the Jets never ever ever should have even considered signing Tebow. Esiason was right. This is going to ruin Sanchez and set the Jets back years. I want him gone. Now.

I do not want him to start either, but if he is improving as many has said he can only help the team. Sanchez will be fine, but if cannot handle it or goes down, it is nice to have someone competent to come in and give them a chance to win. Now why would you want that gone?

Cry me a river. This is isn't going to ruin Sanchez. Poor performance is the only thing that could ruin Sanchez. If he plays even up to his average over the last 5 years, his job is secure. If you don't think he can rise to the occasion, why would you want him as your QB?

So here we have an example of the ultimate in hypocrisy from a Tebowmaniac. Hill, who is a rookie with incredible physical talent, and who has played in exactly one half of one preseason game, has brick hand and won't ever be able to catch. But Tebow, who is playing under a third HC and is in his third training camp with a significant body of NFL work is somehow going to see the light any minute and change from the passing hack that he is into an NFL passer.

This is what I have trouble comprehending, this gents are grown men doing a job. If any of them cannot handle the pressure and not listen to sports INFOTAINMENT ( as I like to say), then do we really want them on the field?

If Jets fans can't see that this minute by minute comparison between Sanchez and Tebow in preseason practice drills will not continue and worsen during the season, I don't know what to say. At minimum, this is a major distraction. At its worst, it will fracture the team.

I agree with what your saying there, the scouts that I read said he displayed great hands even though he was limited in college. I dropped pass doesn't mean much as a rookie and he will get better. Just as they are saying Sanchez and TT are getting better. The problem is it is getting harder these days to find actual reporters that are non-biased.

I dont think it will cause any delimna to the team. The good part atleast as fans we get to see how they are doing in practice and they are both looking damn good.

And at best, Sanchez answers the bell and performs well, or he folds under the pressure and you find out he's not your guy so you can move on before wasting more time on him to finally "develop."

^^^I think this is what the Jet's brass is thinking.

If I remember correctly, I think that scouting reports actually said both things. That he did have drops but that he also made unbelievable catches.

Why again is this hypocrisy, and why is this attributed to Tebowmaniacs? Athletes get criticized all the time.

wow... trust me if Sanchez cant handle this pressure then how is he going to handle a late drive in a superbopwl? ...c'mon man, have some faith in Sanchez and it is utterly ridiculous to even consider simply cutting Tebow...that is foolish.

Lol...If Sanchez isn't capable of playing well enough to keep Tebow on the bench then it was drafting Sanchez that set the Jets back years.

No, I've followed Hill since college. He's got brick hands.

I liked the pick, and I believe he can improve. But he has brick hands.

There's no need to try and squeeze everything through a Tebow lens, let it go. This comment is pertains to Stephen Hill, receiver.

His athleticism and great body control put him the position to make acrobatic catches. He makes some great catches.

He bricks catches like that one the other night -- more routine ones. And the way he drops, it's amazing -- not usually a fumble, or a tip, it's like he's spiking a volleyball sometimes. Which is why I say "brick hands."
