New Uniforms

true. Somehow they just went off a cliff and look like some futuristic arena league team. I wonder how their fans feel about it. The team has looked like a joke for a while now

back long long ago in the 80s i liked the seahawks, i was a HUGE curt warner fan and just absolutely loved their helmets... i can remember as a 5 or 6 year old seeing it in the store with my grandmother and just absolutely loving it.

now they are a hot fucking mess, but there are people out there who like that type of garbage uniforms.

 

The new uniforms looked like somebody took last year's jerseys, swam in a chlorinated pool and then left them out in the sun for a few days to fade to a greenish, gray color. They look like crap.

 

Those look like World League throwaways. Just terrible.

 

This. And I don't understand the large dark square patch on the stomach area. Some of the other teams unis look really good with vibrant colors.

 

I didn't like how dull the green looked.

 

I think that was '99 & '00 we had Nike uni's(I believe we changed to Reebok in '02) but that was long before Nike(and other companies( started ruining uniforms.

I didn't hate them, but I'd prefer to stick with the traditional Jets' shade of green - these looked almost Philly green...

yeah they do. A few teams told Nike not to change anything(Green Bay, Dallas, Oakland ,NE)...hopefully the Jets smarten up and ask for their old ones back for next season.

 

Yeah i think they will. Thats why I'm not buying a nike authentic till next seaaon

 

It's in the fans hands...I think if they make the point known to the Jets and vote with their wallets...the Jets will go back to Nike and demand the old duds back.

 

I always thought the Reebok Jet uniforms were the nicest in the league by a country mile. These are still good, still up there for the best, but they are a clear step down from what we're used to. The Tebow/Sanchez pics are proof enough.

 

Honestly, I prefer the new ones.

 

We still have one of the best uniforms in the league, drabber green or not.

 

I wish they would bring back the jerseys like the one in ur avy. Atleast make it one of the throwbacks!!

 

The best Jets jerseys were the Keyshawn rookie year ones with the black trim.

 

I disagree, I didn't like the black trim ones. Our colors are green and white not green, white and black.
