I walk away from the game excited about coples. I'm not sold on the offense, and the official suck to put it lightly...

The offense was incredibly vanilla and was all about trying guys out

Im disappointed in our tight ends, and the OL should improve when Hunter returns (cant believe im saying that)

The O might not be great, but itll be better

TBH it felt like Schotty was still around. Not worried though, very vanilla offense.

After a decade of watching, I'm still trying to figure out if I should take anything away from preseason games.

    Coples is obviously not Gholston.

Well mark was at 66% completion....the yardage was very low tho. We need more health on offense. Our o-line is complete crap... Think they gave up like 7 sacks tonight.
I have faith in our defense, when it's all said and done I think they'll be dominant.
ST worried the shit outta me. Conley is fucking trash. I don't trust anyone we have now to return punts or kicks, outside of maybe McKnight.

Can't really blame Conley for blocked punt.

You would think by now people would have learned that pre-season games are essentially meaningless.

Tim Tebow is the best rusher we got!

O-Line and back-up TEs are still shit. Coples is a beast

My friend is a die hard Giants fan and never leaves an opportunity to tell me how awesome Steve Weatherford is. Lucky me.

Our o-line situation is scary. Our backs and Qbs are both getting stuffed. Not exactly an inspiring sight.

Yeah maaaaaaaan. I was totally bummed out about all of those runs up the middle in the first preseason game of the season. This team is doomed.

This was the only thing that bothered me. Best ST coach in the game, complemented by the worst fucking punter. Hopefully they have a wood chipper in the tunnel.

I thought they were used as a gauge to see how ready a team is for the regular season...

Couples looked good, McKnight is the clear #2 and Id like to see more Gannaway in the next game. As far as ground and pound? Id feel more comfterble signing a veteran FA RB. What would we do if Greene went down?

Coples played good really can't say that about the rest of the draft class. Really all the Jets want is to come out of this game without any injuries. I know Eric Smith got hurt don't know how bad yet. Our second tier CB are terrible. Trufant is just too short. Didn't see enough of the guys I really wanted to watch Fletcher and Steed.. The offensive line was terrible all game.

You can blame him for that 30-yard punt later, though.

Conley is terrible IMHO. I have no idea why we didn't try to find someone els in FA.

Oh don't worry. Tebow raises the play of those around him. And then there is always Travis Baltz.

Honstly, I am more worried about our backs more than the OL. Greene runs like he is in mud. His first step is molasses. I know ppl are going to blame the OL for this but not I. I was not impressed with Powell. McKnight was ok. I'd like to see more of him with the 1s. To early to tell with Ganaway.

Not this early. If that were the case, 1st team would play a lot more than they did tonight.
