i was saying that in another thread a little earlier. he was the one guy who really stood out to me. maybe it had to do with him playing alot and for just about the whole game and against 2nd and 3rd teamers... but he really made ALOT of plays tonight. he was hard to not pay attention to.

very happy to see him play well.

I saw most of the first half online and I can say that Coples was every bit as good as Jones was in his first playing time. Though it should be stated that he did most of his best work against the Bengals 2nd and 3rd string guys. Still, Jet fans can take heart that their #1 looked just as good as anyone else's

Coples is still playing halfway through the 4th

Theyre definitely running the fuck out of this guy

Its really not fair to compare the 2 since Coples played way longer, and against 2nd/3rd stringers

But Coples unquestionably has been wreaking a lot more havoc

Again though 2nd/3rd stringers plus massive minutes.

Nothing they do means anything till September though, so thats the only time the comparisons count

His "motor" was definitely running tonight, lets just hope he doesn't turn it off for the rest of the season

    Quote of the day:

"Coples is practically sleeping on top of running backs."

Coples impressed the hell out of me tonight. I had my doubts about him at first.

I'd say better, more disruptive and impactful.

This is the problem with taking tweets from idiot beat writers concerning the game of football. Most beat writers hate football and don't understand the game at all. They are fucking idiots in that field of expertise.
