It is like arguing with a second grader. BQB: Tebow is great others: No he is not he has not proved he can throw from the pocket BQB: He has look at his college numbers others: There a re a lot QBs that do well in college and struggle in the pros BQB- That is not what I am saying but look at his college numbers I can do one for the Qb controversy also At least Cowboy fan pulls up meaningless stats and tries to show how great Tebow is with them. Then he says I said over and over I like Sanchez then goes with this ridiculous post of how great Tebow is. There is no revolution or changing of QB positions in the NFL they have said this for years be it Mcnair, Cunningham, Mcnabb, Vick, VY, Brunell etc etc etc.. The fact remains QBs that win the superbowl are pocket passers period. Can Tebow become a pocket passer who knows they way it looks now it is unlikely but he will get another shot just based on his popularity. I personally think his mechanical flaws are to great to overcome but I have been wrong before. Bulking up does not help one throw the ball better. Tebow needs to slim to be a better passer. It seems Tebow knows his roll and he has been successful in his style and may not want to or think he needs to change. Only time will tell. As far as Tebow with the Jets he will play a big roll in their success this year but ultimately the Jets success will depend on How Sanchez plays. If he plays well the Jets are SB contender and Tebow just be the factor that get them there. If he does not what Tebow does will not really matter.
this ? Coming from you ? That's ironic. CVAL: Tebow can't throw from the pocket. Demo: Ask Pittsburgh about that. CVAL: Ummm, derp, duh, hmmmm.
The red highlighted part of your statement is absurd. How can Tim have success if his team doesn't succeed?
Listen buddy, I am not trolling. I discuss Tebow in the Tebowmania forum and genuinely want to see him do well which since he is a Jets player will benefit the Jets. I do not talk bad about any Jets players or the organization. I did not create the controversy, it is already there. Now if by "semantics" you mean that I pointed out the definition of a word in the English language, then you may want to look up semantics in the dictionary. I was clearly correcting someone's error who mistook "controversy" for "competition". In fact, I said there was no immediate competition for the starting QB position. Lastly, I am in the Tebowmania forum and post well within the scope of what should be discussed here. Perhaps, you should take your own advice and "go away."
That's what I never got -- the quarterback pretty much always rises or falls with the success of the team. I don't get these people who think there's a scenario where Tebow does great but the Jets pile up losses.
Please point out where I said that Rex Ryan cares what I think, let alone knows who I am. You may be confused thinking I am someone else, because clearly whatever statements you are attaching to me personally are inaccurate. And since you brought it up, let me point out that your last sentence does not pass the logic test. How can ESPN "create" a controversy that isn't there? If they "created" a controversy, then it now exists, and is therefore, "a real controversy". Perhaps what you meant to say is that they help to facilitate the growth of the controversy. I don't like to call anyone "dumb", but seriously there is no way you can debate on definitions of words. That is just silly. "Competition" does not equal "controversy". The two are not mutually exclusive, nor is one required for the other to exist. You are really talking apples and oranges.
You wont find any post that I said Tebow is a great QB He is not a great QB He is a great football player I stated from the get go that Sanchez is a better QB and will start I sad that Tebow will help the jets win games I am a Tebow fan, he is an exciting football player and easy to route for It's clear cut honest opinion from me I am pretty clear on it and I posted other people's articles on his nfl records , that while you say are meaningless makes people that say he will be out of the nfl next year look pretty ridicoulous .
