    Great article.

Good summary of training camp, albiet very optimistic about our safety's.

I love it's point about Hill. Hopefully he will improve Holmes' game a lot this year.

Pretty disrespectful of Scott to say that about Leonard. That's been your homeboy for what-- 5, 6 years? C'mon man.

Call a spade a spade. Leonhard was all heart which made up for his physical short comings. Guy was smart and gave it his all but I'm glad he is gone. I was surprised he said it but I don't think he said it to be insulting.

what i didn't get is why is it more likely for sanchez to be inconsistent then to play solidly? i'd say its a 50/50 proposition at worst based on other reports

About the fairest assessment i've heard all training camp.
A little on the optimistic side for the safeties, but i agree with the article on the whole.

Off Topic - I really hope Couples has a good game tomorrow because Melvin Engram - the player we all expected the Jets to take at 16 if he was available - is having a very good game for San Diego. He looks like a disruptive force - hard to block - fast and powerful. Couples better show something!

Huh? Which part of that was disrespectful? He said he was a great player, he's just not that big. That is the truth, it's not a sign of disrespect.

What's hilarious about this article is that they said the Bills have one of the best Defenses in the league. What a riot!! One player does not transform a weak 27th rated defense into a top 5, I'm sorry. They'll be better, but one of the top D's in the league. Yeah right.

I think the first preseason game is a little early to be drawing any conclusions.

Well you have to start the comparisons sometime - yes but no conclusions.
Ingram - now spelled correctly - was all over the field for San Diego last night. He disrupted passing plays hitting the QB and forcing early throws. He consistantly beat the player blocking him. Would be nice to see Couples have any type of impact!

Lol Coples will be called a bust after his first quarter of preseason action if he doesn't. Him and Ingram play 2 different positions but I felt like Ingram was the better pass rusher coming out of the draft. Coples has the physical talent though we will see what he can do on the line.

Scott would lose in a fight with Leonard because Jim has heart.

Ingram looked great last night. Here's to hoping Coples plays just as well.

Very good article. It's about a fair an article as we could have expected. I think we're looking more towards 10-6 or 11-5. Those first couple of weeks will show a lot about what kind of team we have.

because he is playing elite defenses during the time frame they are discussing. at best he will be inconsistent against them, but there is nothing in his past performances to suggest he will play solidly against them consistently.
