F*** it. why can't Tebow lovers just be patient and wait for his time? Tebow is surreal. Just lay back and watch his career pans out like a great movie. Really no need to bash Sanchez at all.
I think your definition of "excelled" isn't the standard one. Sanchez has been hitting barely 50% of his pass attempts on most days and rarely hitting 60% while Tebow has struggled to even get to 50%. Most fans wouldn't consider those numbers that great considering that even rookies like Luck and Tannehill are hitting 60% or more of their attempts fairly regularly.
I knew a garbage thread like this was coming. Sanchez performs overall better almost everyday and Tebow has one solid day and the circle jerk begins. Tebow will not be taking Sanchez job. sorry to inform you. Sanchez would have to spontaneously combust or string together 4 horrendous games for that to happen.
^^^ hah excuse I know, but the dolphins defense != jets defense Nor do practice completion stats have anything to do with football.
And then when preseason comes, everybody uses the "it's only preseason!" thing if whatever transpires doesn't fit their perception. (Which is a legit point -- preseason goes against reality all the time. It's just funny how all of us tend to latch onto whatever suits us in the early going).
Agreed. But people play themselves into the roster and play themselves out of a roster spot during preseason, so I think it needs to be taken very seriously.
By excelling I meant reading the defense and making better reads. They both have been praised for this. Just for kicks I looked up tweets back to July 30 camp and Tim is at 62.something percent according to end of practice QB stats, so Mark has to be higher I assume. It doesn't mean much, but they both seem to look better. Just my opinion. Edit: that's also counting the green and white game and even though I think the kid will always be a backup it appears he has gotten tremendously better in practice.
