Jets RapidReports @CBSSportsNFLNYJ Joe McKnight in rehab group on a bike. Unclear what the issue is. #jets
Rich Cimini @RichCimini Final QB stats: Sanchez 2-for-8, 1 TD, 1 INT, 2 sacks. Tebow 2-for-3, 1 sack. Big day for Maybin (2 sacks). T. Ganaway's best day. #Jets
Thats kind of how I see it too. It must be frustrating to get dominated by the defense and as soon as there is a late hit or anything like that they just blow up on them.
I'm going to be optimistic and assume that this is just being over reported. Like someone said they are reporting when players yell at each other...like that doesn't happen at the other 31 camps? I was hoping for a lot more cohesion between the groups but so far doesn't seem that way. I guess as long as the offense are all banded together and the defense are all banded together that's the important thing. Don't really need the offense and defense to be buddy-buddy as they aren't on the field at the same time (other than some ST stuff). Only a few days until the first pre-season game. I hope they still have some aggression left by then and take it out on the Bengals instead of each other.
It's getting ridiculous with all the reporting going on. It's the NFL and training camp. You have athletes competing for spots on the team. In addition they are working in the heat and it can get chippy. I think we'll be just fine. If anything I think this shows the players are hungry and ready to kick some ass. Hopefully we unload on the Bengals.
Seems like these poor offensive numbers are becoming a daily thing. Not sure if that means: 1. The defense is REALLY good 2. The offense is REALLY bad 3. The offense is bad because the defense is so good. In fairness, seems like a lot of injuries on the offensive side of the ball. Still plenty of time to get it balanced out.
Dont think WFH returned either. And im not sure if Moore made it back from Canton today Ok Moore played but WFH didnt. So you got a scrub @ center and a scrubs backup @ tackle
Holmes expected to miss Fridays game http://www.nydailynews.com/blogs/je...eing-cautious-about-returning-from-rib-injury
These camps won't give us an accurate picture of our team as a whole. When the D makes a play, Im not sure if I should be excited about it, or worry about the offense letting the D make a play and vice versa. Starters vs. starters in pre season games will give you a much better picture of where we stand. For now, it seems the D has taken some really good advantage of all the injuries and absentees on the O.
I concur. However, adding onto his post, I felt that there was a fourth option under his assumptions.
The media is in full out shark mode. Trying to make names for themselves, and invent drama. I heard Heath Evans call the Jets training camp a 'debacle'. Heard countless others call it a circus. The only circus i've seen is the media's relentless obsession of Tebow, and their irresponsible journalism. What i see brewing is accountability. Players holding each other accountable, Rex holding players accountable. A little scuffling is healthy, a little calling out of underperforming players is healthy. Rex reminding everyone who exactly is running the show is excellent. I'm glad to see the fire.
The hell with the media jerkoffs. This team DEFENSIVELY IS READY TO GO! Offensively im not quite that sure. I still see the glaring need for a WR.
