Some would say that makes you a winner. Seriously though, I think people will like this movie the more they see it. It gets better with each viewing instead of worse.

Am I the only one who didn't think they were setting up for JGL to be Robin? It seemed pretty clear to me that they were setting him up to the be the next Batman. I just thought his real name being Robin was a little nod to fans, not the actual foreshadowing.

No, it is pretty clear he is going to become the new Batman, since Bruce retired. Now Blake will be the symbol that Gotham needs. This raises many questions, but I do believe that is what Chris Nolan was doing with the story.

Problem is he is smaller, not trained by the League of Shadows, not able to even defend himself at times in the movie, so him being Batman seems far fetched. You have to use your imagination to think what could have happened next. Did Bruce come back and train him? Did he become Nightwing instead of Batman since Gotham thought Batman died? He is very much the Robin of this Nolan series though. When you re-watch it, knowing he is Robin, it is pretty cool to see how similar he is. Robin does take over for Batman in some comics and becomes Batman.

I think the bottom line for Nolan is this story ended Bruce's journey as Batman, but Batman is still very much alive and will be taken over by Blake, as Bruce fixes the Bat signal for Gordon. This story is over though, so we will never really know.

I thought I saw Gordon at the top of the bulding with a fixed signal?

True...but I was thinking more along the lines of:

"It says here, your real name is Richard Grayson".

"My friends just call me Robin"

I just went and saw it at the Fresh Meadows theater. The theater sucks, and it was packed. Bunch of people talking, and there was what sounded like a diseased animal in the row behind me.

I didn't really like the movie. I thought it was fairly confusing and obviously very unrealistic.

I noticed Hines Ward and also two actors playing minor roles that I've seen before. One of them was the guy with the loudspeaker not allowing anyone to cross the bridge. He played a cop on Dexter.

That's unfortunate. What confused you? And shit I had no idea super hero movies were supposed to be realistic...that changes EVERYTHING!

The plot. The fact that I couldn't hear some parts contributed, but I felt a lot of it could've been explained better.

I didn't say superhero movies were supposed to be realistic, I'm just commenting on how some parts were rather absurd.

Scene was filmed at Heinz Field. NFL players in it were from the Steelers, including Big Ben, Polamalu, Mike Wallace, Aaron Smith, Brett Keisel, Maurkice Pouncey, Willie Colon, James Farrior, Ryan Clark, Heath Miller and Casey Hampton. Also Bill Cowher. Could've missed someone though.

    Pouncey is a veteran star?

    Here's the list they give:

I didn't notice the other guys, but I did notice Ward standing during the anthem.
