I believe what you wanted to say was "I hate Obama and I will try to find any way to dump on him." Every report on TV and newspapers are about Sanchez and Tebow. Name another backup QB that gets even half the press that Tebow gets. The average non Jet fan believes that there is a QB controversy on the jets. What Obama said was not hating on the Jets.
The "dude" knows as much about sports as my sister and that happens to be very very little. That being said he does know more sports then he does about economics or being an american that is for sure.
I just wanted to point out that Obama is winning NY with all Jets fans or no Jets fans. It's strange that NY gets one of the highest voting turnouts in the country yet our votes actually count the least since the state will be blue for the foreseeable future (and that's coming from a Democrat, lol)
LoL who does this guy think he is? Even the POTUS has no business getting involved in football. I don't care for Nixon having done it in his time, and I sure as shit don't care for the Barackonator doing it in his last 95 days.
I'm with you on that point. The majority of non-Jets fans seem to think that Tebow is competing in camp for the starter spot. The rest of us know that he's the backup QB and the pile of other random roles they are giving him. That's it. The media just likes to idea of a controversy, especially when the Jets are involved, and hypes it up as such so they can sell papers/mags/etc.
Plus Mccain / Palin was a terrible ticket and with Bush's complete failure of a presidency, the odds were definitely stacked in favor of Obama. I don't even hate Obama, I just think his statement on the Jets QB "controversy" and saying "If I was a Jets fan I'd be nervous" were a bit ignorant. Clearly Obama doesn't follow the Jets, or he'd know better. Only complete media hacks still claim there is / will be a QB controversy. Last thing we need is the president perpetuating the same silly rumor. It's a big joke.
Hopefully you were going for a shock factor thread title, because it was very misleading. Love Rex's response: "I’ll say this," Ryan said, "I respect President Obama and I respect the fact that this is his opinion." "That’s it," Ryan said with a big grin. "I’m not taking that layup."
I also liked Rex's response as well. On the inside Rex must be thinking "Wow, we need to become a better football team, and prove everyone wrong".
That's ridiculous! No-one except Jimmy Carter could do worse than Obama. If you remember people said the same thing when Reagan took over from that a$$ clown Carter and he turned it around. The fact that this clown for a President is commenting on the Jets instead of concentrating on the state of the nation demonstrates that he is totally disconnected from reality. Not only is he misinformed about how to manage the nation but he's also misinformed about the state of the Jets. In fact, Rex has had a far better three years as coach then Obama has had as President. That much is indisputable unless you're a Obamatron who believes everything he says despite the reality of the situation.
Wow, you guys are overreacting. He said nothing about hating the Jets, all he said is that if he was a Jet fan he'd be worried about how well the Sanchez/Tebow dynamic was going to work out which is the same thing everyone on here was saying after the trade. He complimented the Jets far more than anything. Did anyone even manage to read the full quote: Same thing everyone thinks on this board.
I must disagree, Bush did worse, but Obama just kept the same poor leadership going. 12 years of BS. I am still voting for Ron Paul because neither the Muslim nor the Mormon have a clue. Go Jets!!!
obama should be worried about his failing job performance and overall incompetence, rather than opining about football (which btw is yet another topic which he doesn't know jack about).
What president Obama is saying isn't too farfetched. We all know Tebow is here because Woody loves attention and he's also here because in the event Sanchez plays any worse there will be someone ready to replace him.
what he said is stupid and off point which is typical for him. Tebow is here to run the rock in wildcat which he is going to be AWESOME doing. Secondly Tebow is here b/c having brunell as the backup was assinine. There is no QB controversy at all - Sanchez is the Starting QB. So once again the President has his feet planted firmly in thin air. the worst president in 40 + yrs. worse than carter which is saying something.
