For all you Jets fans! Enjoy! http://espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/sto...ts-unveil-tim-tebow-goal-line-wildcat-offense
Of course she is. So's Jaws, it's summertime! I'll take Hannah circa 2001. Any reasonably attractive woman becomes "hot" in a football context. This is crazy - Tebow's first snap is video recorded and release upon the universe as breaking news. Holy sh*t have times changed. I hadn't checked Twitter yet, it must have exploded. That said, so far so good, the Jets are seemingly going to use him exactly as I'd hoped once the deal was struck. His first broken tackle TD run at home will produce bedlam. Can't wait. Also, GO SANCHEZ!
As usual, the Jets are gonna be fun to watch. If (and that's if) they manage to rip off a bunch of wins, it's gonna be insane. I just hope the defense can step up.
Good plan. Not like Sanchez was one of the best QBs in the red zone across the entire NFL last season, is it.
I don't know, I seem to recall that Tebow is pretty good from within the 20. Sent the Jets home from Denver with a loss as I recall.
Sanchez was much better than Tebow in the red zone...that being said Tebow is an absolute MONSTER inside the 5.
You guys realize that: 1. It was against 2nd D 2. Those were goals from 2-yd line, not exactly a red zone practice, right?
Tebow has been money from the 3 and in since entering the NFL. That's a very valuable commodity to have for short yardage and goal.
Here's a few clips of Tebow running for TDs
No argument here. I said before that if TT's use is 3rd-4th & goal from 3-4 yards, I'm all for it. My points are these: - stop comparing stats. It's 1st time this pre-season & it's against 2nd D. Is this really time to start measuring? And is this really the right measuring stick? - Somehow those goal-line attempts grew into red zone attempts. "Mark for 80, TT for 20" ... blah blah blah bullshit
Some people get it, some people don't. I've stopped concerning myself with the folks that won't get it. They get nothing but the same horse shit right back. You get it.
I wonder if the threat of Tebow coming on the field inside the 10 (or 5, or 20) will make Sanchez take more chances to the endzone when they get close to the red zone.
You know what would be great? We should go for 2 with Tebow after EVERY touchdown. If he makes 80% of them we are way ahead of the game. Two with Tebow! Has a nice ring to it.
