Few here give a rat's ass about college football and the whole born again Christian thing will not matter one iota in this area. Tebow is just like all the other Jets - a football player. And when he screws up, he will hear it.

You sound defensive. 1) Charlie ward won a heismann too.... Do we really need to have that conversation? 2) if I recall he had teammates playing with him in most of those games he won. if you want charlie ward or greg mcelroy as your qb than say so bro and be able to back that up with something bro. neither one of those players has accomplished as much success on a football field as TT has. If you want to hate on him just admit you are a hater and leave it at that. But don't pretend that charlie ward or greg mcelroy is a better qb than Tebow.
Again you're coming out kind of aggressive about a backup qb. All I said was he is not the best backup qb on the jets. This is not cognitive dissonance. This is based on 1) he started training camp working with the 3's. Which is pertinent and seems to indicate he might not be the second best qb on the jets roster (according to the coaches). Maybe I'm off the mark though. 2) from what I've read he's not had a good camp so far. Which would seem to indicate that he 's probably not done much to change the depth chart they started with so far. If you're a tebow fan that's fine with me. But just because I'm not immediately a tebow fan that doesnt make me a hater. If he wins games for them sure... I'm in. To date he hasn't done anything that makes me believe he's the 2nd best qb on the jets. If that offends your sensibility then I guess I'll ignore your posts from now on so as not to offend. You need to relax, smarten up and get your facts straight. 1) Tebow worked with the First team offense on Friday and the second team yesterday. so you are totally wrong on that score. 2) you read wrong. He went 4/5 w/the 1st team on Friday including a 40 yd TD pass. Yesterday was a mixed bag for pretty much everybody as it was pouring rain in cortland. Of course he is gonna make mistakes, its training camp. mcelroy has made mistakes too, but nobody really bothers to write about them. 3) There have been 2 days of practice and he is learning a new offense. So take a deep breath, relax and stop trying to attack Tebow based on innaccurate facts that you appear to have made up simply to justify hating on Tebow (for no apparent reason btw). Im not sure what you want the guy to do for you to realize he is the back up QB and I'm not sure why you are so hung up on it that you are making stuff up to justify your incorrect statements. If you want to hate Tebow, say why. He seems like a cool guy, not sure where your hate is coming from. but making stuff up about any of our guys is not fair. okay? have a nice one.
