I disagree, i think he got traded to be an integral part of the team. It would be foolish not to take advantage of his strengths as an athlete. It would also be foolish to hold him back by strapping him under the label of QB or backup QB. He is neither of those anymore, the Jets will show that their ability to apply Tebows strengths to our gameplan will be the difference between the house of cards built by Denver and the solid, balanced, reliable football team youll see this year. And of course to put asses in the seats, I wont deny that part of it.
They are great actually but I will tell you it would be hard to find a segment of the cowboy fan base that is actively rooting for a player to fail while he is on our team. now that is bizarre.
Why does it matter if hes a "starter" or not? I said hes not here to be a backup QB. Edit: I suppose i misread your post. I guess there is no position i would label him as a starter, but again what does it matter? Nobody slights the change of pace back jsut because he isnt the "starting RB." I thik you and me are on the same page as far as how the team is going to use him, i just think lableing him as just a "back up" is kind of a negative way of looking at it. Im saying hes got a definitive role in the team, theres just no label for it, but who cares about labels?
Who rooting against him? Just because some of us think he not a good QB. That means we are rooting against him?
im not rooting for him to fail. i just think him and his ultra christian fan base sucks. other than that i hope hes the best punt protector ever
Bingo. I don't have a problem with tebow. It's his god damned cockroach fanbase. They come in here and start trashing our quarterback. I'm not rooting for Tim to fail by no means. You guys should just start your own tebow forum, it'll make a much smoother transition when he's on his next team pretty soon.
I am a fan of his and I am not ultra christian , so stop labeling people and putting them all in the same bucket.
I like sanchez , I think he should be the starter as he is a proven QB and I have said so many, many, many times. I think you area assigning one person or two people's thoughts to an entire group. 99% of Tebow's fans here just think he has real good upside and is very clutch in close games. I think the media's obsession with him is what clouds the issue , not the fans but the constant media.
I drew the duck blue because I've never seen a blue duck before, and to be honest with you, I wanted to see a blue duck. Sent from my VS840 4G using Tapatalk 2 Beta-5
You obviously haven't been reading posts in this forum. Many will hide behind their comments and say, "I want Tebow to fail, not because I hate him, but I hate his fans." I think that is even more ridiculous than just hating him and wanting him to fail. Regardless, a majority of posters in this forum want to see him fail.
Yes, that is exactly what I think. Him being traded does not affect the reality of his records and accomplishments. It just means he got traded.
Reality of his records? The 4th quarter comebacks and the playoff passer rating are the only important ones. Its like saying Mark Sanchez set the record for beating a football team while consuming the most hotdogs by an NFL player at the same time. Sent from my VS840 4G using Tapatalk 2 Beta-5
Lets get this straight. Tebow has not accomplished nearly the same amount that Sanchez has (back to back AFC championship games). Tebow doesn't make his team better like a drew brees, Aaron Rodgers, or Tom Brady. He is an option qb in the NFL. I'm gonna name all the qbs better than Tebow in no particular order. Aaron Rodgers Tom Brady Drew Brees Peyton Manning Eli Manning Ben Rothliesberger Philip Rivers Michael Vick Tony Romo Matt Ryan Cam Newton Alex Smith Matt Schaub Carson Palmer Andy Dalton Joe Flacco Mark Sanchez Ryan Fitzpatrick Josh Freeman And we haven't seen Luck or RG3 play yet Sent from my VS840 4G using Tapatalk 2 Beta-5
So did Mark brunell in 99. So does every other qb on that list. Tebow fans get a new argument. Luck can't carry you into the post season more than once. Guess what Mark Sanchez has more wins, playoff appearances, and playoff wins than Tebow. Sent from my VS840 4G using Tapatalk 2 Beta-5
you do realize that tebow has only started 16 NFL games , including post season, so I think its a bit soon to write off his entire career don't you think?
And yet with a terrible Denver Broncos squad and very little experience he has a winning record in NFL games vs the established qb's that you say are better than him~and thats a fact. Also I think taking a 4-12 team to a division to a division title and a playoff win qualifies as making his team better. Know your what you are talking about before you put yourself out there like that.
