Sal Pal was positive about the Jets, saying Tebow is the best 3rd down back on the team and that Sanchez is in total control. He was asked who fans are rooting for, and he said there is a lot of interest in Tebow, obviously. I just hope people don't assume real Jets fans want Timmy to start.
I am a "real" Jet fan who is pulling for Sanchez big time. However, to say all "real" Jet fans are pulling for Sanchez and to intimate that you can't be a "real" Jet fan if you want Tebow to start is foolish.
I agree. I want whoever can score points to play, Mark, Tim, a combination, whatever it takes. I think "real Jets fans" want the team to win no matter how or with who. If Mark can't throw, bring someone else in, if Greene can't run, bring someone else in...

That's because Tebow is Tebow, which means he is NOT an NFL caliber QB. He is and will always be a gimmick QB. I just hope the media and the fans come to this realization quickly so we can stop the ridiculous minute by minute comparisons in what is a fictitious QB competition.
I like Maybin getting sacks on Sanchez and Tebow! I'm pretty sure last year's training camp wasn't nearly this positive, although it was rushed big time, so I'm not sure if you can judge that.
