Hes a decent TE who can be signed cheap. Great possesion guy in the red zone. Teams are bolstering up on TEs I think hes worth a look.
No thanks This offense has enough problems If he was in his mid 26s and in tip top shape it might be worth the headache. But age 32 with not much in the tank, it would be like signing TO at this point. Id rather get a young UDFA or something
This - I was never impressed with his attitude, and his production last year was nothing to gawk over. Would rather let Sanchez mold with what we have. With Cumberland and Keller, we don't need another middle of the road hybrid tight end. If he was more of a griding blocker I'd say go for it. I'm leaning more and more towards Ducasses or newly annointed backup Hunter filling the "Jumbo blocking TE" role.
Shockey has too much baggage both on the field and off. We're striving to become less of a circus and to sign a Shockey is going in the wrong direction.
What about Braylon Edwards coming back and playing TE... Sorry, that's just usually where these threads end up.
LOL... no joke. Not sure I want to have so many old ex-Giants. Shockey and Burress? Hopefully we'll pass on both.
Obligatory Tebow should play TE comment. Ok good, now that's outta the way no one else needs to say it. No on Shockey.
I would love it. Idk why, but i was all about chris baker...i think it was this touchdown against the browns, i thought was the best catch of his career.
Except it was ruled not a TD and we ended up losing  BTW, I believe #21 in that pic is Brodney Poole...
I think the next big thing out of NE will be a four TE set. Seriously. How many TEs have they signed this season in addition to the ones they already had?
Nope. Giants got rid of him for being too critical of the team. Shockey would criticize the Jets even worse.
