If healthy generally is only added to guys who arent expected to be healthy or who have an injury risk.

Adding if healthy to someone like Revis or Dbrick who rarely miss a game is just stupid.

I'm not sure what the point of this statement is. Obviously there's far more risk in a 300+ lb player who only played 4 games in the last two years because of knee injuries getting injured than a db who has only missed a few games due to a little hammy after missing all of training camp getting injured.

Just a great, great trade by the New York Jets here. Otah has barely been healthy the last two years, has played only four games. If he is healthy, he's a massive upgrade on Wayne Hunter, and gives the Jets clearly the best offensive line in the league. If he's not healthy, I assume the conditional draft pick is very low, and they've only paid about a million bucks because Otah's still on his rookie contract.

I sure would, but this trade doesnt mean that the front office does at all.

If the front office thought Wayne Hunter was a huge problem, and their solution was getting a guy who has never played a full season, then our front office is retarded and should all be fired.

They believe in Wayne Hunter for whatever reason, but Tanny did his due diligence and found an incredibly cost effective plan B

As a reminder (as if Jets fans need one) Wayne Hunter ranked =4th worst among all tackles in total pressure allowed and =2nd worst in sacks

Otah is great if he is healthy, which he hasn't been in several years. I'll be surprised if he plays in more than 8 games if at all. But hopefully Otah shocks the world and becomes a dominant healthy RT for the NYJ.

lol, Jenkins gave you 1 year.

This guy Otah has no knees. Seriously, your OL is in this bad of shape that this is your savior?

This is the kind of deal that when we make it the press will focus on virtually nothing but the injuries, whereas if the Patriots made it, people would focus on nothing but the upside.

His knees were fine last year, he missed games due to a concussion and lower back problems.

    Thanks for playing though

Let me know how Fitzpatrick is though

Jets traded conditional 7th-round pick to Panthers for Jeff Otah. Panthers traded conditional 7th-round pick to Oakland for Louis Murphy.

Fitzpatrick is what he is, an average to bad starting QB. What else you want to know?

If his knee holds up. Great pick up.

Tebow better work some of his magic on that knee /sarcasm.
