I agree.... he single handidly cost us a few games last year. Everyone bitches moans and complains yet adequate replacements become available and no one wants them. Go figure,,,,,,, and lose the opportunity to complain about something.......
He just turned 26, is completely healthy, and was drafted by our offensive coordinator AND offensive line coach. Worst case scenario we give him a 1 year shit contract and he does nothing, best case scenario he is our starting guard next year when Moore is gone and Slauson is an UFA. Either that or we go out and give an old washed out veteran tackle a few million dollars like you want. Which do you think more sense ?
I want whats best for the NYJETS. All former Miami Dolphin players arent the answer either. But hey that seems to be the trend here since Sparano arrived. In Rex I trust!
Because the Jets have brought in so many Dolphins since Sparano was hired... He's worth a look like Heyer and Willis were worth looks. He isn't good, but if there is any position the Jets need to take a look at bringing in guys and trying to catch lightning in a bottle, it is RT.
Oh you mean the guy who got bitch-slapped all postseason long? The weakest player on an average Giants OL? Because his ass is done, depth player at best at this point in his career
If you monitor the high school WW, I'm pretty confident we could find someone better than Hunter. Scott? Sure, bring him on. What's he going to cost? Not like people are saying, lets sign him to a Peyton Manning deal. Bring him in, if he can't beat out Hunter, assist him in finding a new profession, and be done with it.
