Very good interview, good to see that he's mature and sounds like a good guy. I'm very excited about him at WR, I thought it was a perfect fit for us when he was drafted.

On the interviewee, I'm guessing she's not on a big time station, so probably a novice at her job, and just wanted him to answer some questions and not get pissed off at her. One of those cupcake interviews, since his agent probably didn't want her to ask questions that may lead to headlines. Most of these interview questions are screened before they are asked on a show, so I wouldn't blame her too much.

Liked the pick myself but can't blame others for being worried. His college offense and opportunities didn't give him a chance to showcase all he's capable of and it makes his ceiling that much harder to gauge.

For this season's offense his production is more than simply catches vs. yards received vs. YAC. If he can force a safety to honestly respect his speed then this pick provides a huge boon for this year's offense & opens up opportunities for others to be more productive. More room for Holmes to work underneath & less chance of extra defenders sitting in/near the box & stuffing the run game.

  3. Certainly this is true however one could actually consider this to be a good thing. He's familiar with playing in a run first, physical offense. That means that he knows how to make the most of balls thrown his way & he knows how to block.

I said a week before the draft that Hill was a perfect fit from both a practical & team need perspective. The WR corps needed fast basketball players to fit Sanchez's throwing style, that's exactly what Hill is. The fact that he knows how to flourish in a run first type of offense..is gravy.

Can't help but think Hill's biggest contributions will be in the running game...clearing out the sideline for a end-a-round, screen pass, quick pass in the flat, etc.

Braylon was a master at clearing out the DB's or even OLB's. Hill coming from a run first program may be even better. Gotta love it.

I'm loving this kid more and more each time I hear from him. Seems to have a great attitude and comes across as down to earth and humble.

Am looking forward to some serious contributions both in the running and passing games.

I expect Hill to be a contributor by week 5. I think we found something special with this kid.
