Your an idiot Revisisyourdaddy and totally wrong about Fitz. Since he signed his contract that was when he cracked his ribs and played the entire second half of the season with this injury. This is why his production declined considerably but when healthy during the first 7 games Fitz was lights out. Sanchez is a joke and a loser. Who is your number 2 WR that is a joke also.....
Ha, you are half right. I can't wait for opening day. It's going to be a great start to the season. It'll probably be a nail biter.
Nobody wants their team to lose opening day. I just can't see the Jets pulling this one off. They seem like the same trainwreck they were last year. No run game, disfunctional QB/WR relationship, piss poor offensive tackles, aging defensive core, I could go on and on. Are the Bills that much better? Not really, but they are good enough to truncate the JerseyJets in wk1. Bills 38 Jets 17
No win is an easy or a gimme win in the NFL. But the games that we SHOULD win as of now are: Buffalo, Miami, Colts, Seahawks, Rams, Jags, Cardinals, Titans. Thats 10 SHOULD wins right there. Im thinking we win at least 8 of those 10 games, and then pick up 2-4 wins against the tougher teams. Week 4 & 5 really scare me though. 49ers and Texans back to back is gonna be really tough. Good thing we have both @ home.
Mario plays LDE, so he'll be facing Hunter all afternoon ... unless Sparano decides to move D'Brick to the right side of the OL. I don't know that Hunter is good enough to move to LT, especially with Mark Anderson there. It would be an upset if the Jets played in NY on opening day since their stadium is in NJ. You're forgiven, however, for failing to realize that there's only 1 team that plays in NY, and that's the Bills.
and theres also only ONE team that hasnt made the playoffs in 12 seasons, and thats the Bills!!! You Bills fans are delusional if you think one player is going to instantly make you a competitor. Soo delusional... until you make the playoffs (or at least have a winning season), you need to take a back seat and RELAX... And also consider the fact the Bills have only beat the Jets ONCE in the last 8 meetings, and even that took you guys OT to pull off back in 09. Stevie Johnson has one good game against Revis and suddenly he owns him? LO fucking L. Sorry, but Fitz hasnt proven ANYTHING yet, which is why Sanchez is ranked higher than him in the top 30 QBs. I mean, damn, I could go on and on all day long about how bad and irrelevant the Bills are. WE OWN YOU!!!!
Some Bills fans said exactly the same thing about Trent Edwards, the Bills QB that Sanchez most closely resembles ... The WRs don't get "separation" downfield because Sanchez can't recognize it. Just like Edwards couldn't. The Bills had Evans and Owens running loose in the secondary and Edwards would throw to his check-down receiver 3 yards beyond the LOS on a third and eight. That was Sanchez last year, too, especially late in the season, which is likely why Holmes went off on him. Holmes is NOT a particularly nice guy, but he knows what it's like to play with a competent QB. I suspect that that's what the problem was with both Mason and Burress, too, only Burress wouldn't chance losing his paycheck while Holmes knew that the Jets couldn't afford to cut him. What Sanchez needs to do is learn to process what he sees on the field much faster than he currently does, including making presnap reads. That would enable him to not only make decisions quickly but make better ones. Is there some switch that goes off in the brain that enables a QB to do that? I dunno, but unless Sanchez improves that part of his game, he's NOT going to improve at all. He's going to continue to miss open WRs downfield. He's going to continue to rely on Keller as his favorite checkdown 3 yards beyond the LOS (and thus bring up the entire defense towards the LOS). He's going to continue to throw behind receivers. He's going to continue to throw late on timing patterns and suffer untimely INTs and pick 6s. He's going to continue to hold the ball too long, taking sacks and giving up fumbles. As it stands now, Sanchez is probably the worse kind of QB a team can have. If he was just plain bad, he'd get benched or released, but he's just good enough for a team to think he can be better if only ... he had more experience, better WRs, better OL, better coaching ...

Those stats are backwards. Here are the offcial rankings from last year: http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics/p...sort/quarterbackRating/year/2011/seasontype/2 But seriously, what does it really matter which 23rd or 24th ranked QB is better? Both are firmly planted in the bottom 3rd of QB's in the NFL.
Anyone else find it really weird that the worst franchise in the NFL is here talking smack relentlessly. We go through this every year with them but this year is particularly ridiculous.
Wishful thinking. Sanchez has proven he could throw deep Fitz on the other hand does not have the arm strength to throw deep. It is a little Ironic that we are comparing a seven year Jag QB to a promising young 3rd year Qb is funny. Fitzpatrick through 23 INTs last year. Fitzpatrick got the ball down the field so well last year 6.7 Y/A Sanchez's Sucked to 6.4 but not sure how that helps Fitzpatrick get the ball down the field.
 Yeah totally. The off season didn't happen. It's the same exact team from Week 17 last season. Nothing's changed at all!!!
