As Knicks fans, should you really be making fun of another franchise?

Overpaid but it doesn't really matter because the Nets have Williams Johnson and Wallace on the books for the next 4 years.

If the Magic want to go ahead and trade Howard for Luis Scola and Kevin Martin then they deserve all the AIDS they get.

Those are decent players...Plus they would get picks AND dump salary...

The Rockets now have leverage and don't need to offer as much since the Nets are out...

Really good picks (the TOR one) too. I really hope Dwight lands out of conference, but Dwight to ATL would be so much fun too.

By the way Nets fans, you have a very solid team still. Williams and Johnson are a great 1/2 combo and Johnson can stretch to the 3 and rarely the 4. Humphries and Lopez are a great rebounding tandem and the East is watered down. You guys are still probably a top 4 team. In no order, Heat, CHI, INDY, Atlantic Divison mess of 4 teams that are real close. I would put the Nets as the best Atlantic team slightly.

Other than the Toronto pick what other ones do they have? Scola still has some money committed to him, Martin's a decent player but he's not somebody you want to commit to and he's a FA at the end of the season.

I think Howard is gonna play for the Magic til the trade deadline

Yeah I'm not too beat up by it, I think that this is a pretty talented team and it's also one that should work well together.

Wallace probably stretches to the 4 better than Johnson.

You also throw in that they were fine taking in Hedo and other huge contracts, something the Nets didn't want. The Nets really didn't have a better offer. Maybe equal at best with a stretch

Why don't they match? I didn't watch the Nets a lot last year.

They can't sign Howard next year as a free agent due to not having the salary cap...

What about that do people not get? They had no choice but to sign Lopez. They overplayed their hand and lost.

They have a third (maybe fourth now?) chance in January when Lopez can be traded to make a last ditch effort. This depends on how much Dwight tanks or isn't behind the team or not there. Unless of course he gets traded to a different team

I don't think they really overplayed anything. Lopez was probably gonna get a max deal anyway from another team.

This ain't over. Dwightmare III is coming. This is exactly like Melo.

LOL at a Knicks fan making fun of another NBA team. The Knicks have been a giant joke for over a decade.
