Ahhh, sounds like the Nets getting closer, keeping my fingers crossed

I look at it this way, Orlando has to do something now. People can say they can wait till the trade deadline but I can't see it. The Lakers won't make a move until they know how the thing with Kobe, Bynum , and Nash works. That's early November at the earliest. The longer Orlando keeps Howard around the bigger distraction he becomes and less likely they have a productive season... unless of course they could care less about this season.

I bet the Nets are threatening them with a deadline too so that if they aren't going to get Dwight they can move on and add other pieces. Either way, the team will be taking shape in the new few days, imo.

I really hope this goes down but I'm not getting my hopes. My prediction is this falls apart again and this is reopened at the deadline when the Magic can get Teletovic in addition to everything else.

Also Nets and Knicks are competing for Marcus Camby.

This is real close mate and after years and years of watching complete crap we have a real opportunity to build something special if this happens and I love it.

Fingers crossed but we've been burned to many times to start celebrating yet.

    It will eventually happen...

I expect it will be Humpries to Cavs with a pick and Brook Lopez resigned with 3 to 4 1st rounders to Orlando...Hope they can squeeze Brooks too

Dont plan on the Dwight deal going through until after Lopez signs an extension.

I think trading Humpries for a pick (ie Cavs) shouldnt be hard.

So once Lopez goes through anything can happen

source regarding possible 3-team trade with cleveland, Brooklyn and the Magic re: Howard. “All the pieces seem to be in place.”

Lopez is a RFA he'd have to sign an extension.

On one hand, I'd be pissed because BK would take over as the team of NY.

On the other, however, I know this is the best chance of beating Miami if Dwight teams up with D-Will and Johnson. More than anything, I want Miami to lose, since Lebron is a bitchmade pussy traitor who betrayed the Knicks. So fuck him and go Brooklyn.

To convince him, they probably add a couple more million a year to his deal I assume

No they wont.....Alot of bandwagon knicks fans may hop off and join the Nets. Watch it start with some bogus celebs. Most NJ Nets fans probably make the switch too...

Another reason why Lin will be resigned...Keep that market intact attracted to Knicks

This sounds weird but they'd nationally be the team of NY but in NY itself it'd still be the Knicks. If that makes any sense.

But on the real I don't give a shit about that, just rack up the W's playa

LeBron betrayed the Knicks? Tell me of this mythical tale, my brother, and once completed please recite it again.

I think thats exactly spot on

And has to bode incredibly well for the Thunder knowing that whenever they make the championship, the Heat or Nets will have to play an incredibly grueling difficult series against each other to get there, and might be a little beat up from it.

Question, does BK have cap space to sign Dwight Howard to a max deal, or will this have to be a sign and trade or Dwight taking less money next offseason?

Twitter is currently saying the deal is close, that CLE wants a reason to take Kris Humphries from either ORL or BK. Their plan is just to swing Humphries for picks anyways
