I dont believe Tebow's issues have anything to do with his build. His issues are between the ears at this point. There are other ways to get flexible other than Jits and MMA in general. Yoga for one. And I agree anyone that does anything 24/7 has got mental problems. But as a Jets fan and since he is now a Jet, I want him to be successful, which means anytime I read something that isn't football centric it bothers me and not just for Tebow any Jet. I don't care about what they do off the field unless it doesn't help them become better players...then I think it sucks.
MBA from Columbia huh ? Let's look at what you just said, and also, note what you didn't say. You said that there are other ways to get flexible, other than MMA and Jiu Jitsu. That's great, totally awesome, really wonderful, and besides the point. Note what you DID NOT SAY, which is that MMA and Jiu Jitsu AREN'T ways to get flexible. In other words, there are a number of ways that it can be accomplished, and MMA/Jiu happens to be one of those ways. So, we are basically left with the notion that you are unhappy that Tebow has chosen MMA/Jiu over Yoga? Your answer doesn't make sense. You don't care what the players do off the field, that is, unless it doesn't help them become better players ? Does that mean they can't go out to eat ? Or that they can't go to a movie ? Or can't hang out with friends/family ?
LOL - I just had a visual image of Tebow running a sweep to the Broncos side of the field and totally taking out Elway. Or better yet, he throws an awful pass with heat and it clocks Elway. Dare to dream.
So lets be idiots and give Tebow a hard time because he is learning a physical discipline. If we only knew what the other 50 Jets were doing with their time the criticism of Tebow would probably subside.
Exactly keep saying how good he is it may come true doubt but maybe if you believe hard enough. Out lifting your line man is not a good trait for your Qb.
Lol was this thread necessarry? This is as bad as th pro tebow trollig. Don't think a future HOF top 5, or at worst top 10 qb all time needs to be compared to a questionable prospect who's biggesst weakness at qb is throwing. Lol. Trolling if I ever saw it.
Why is Tebow always compared to Manning, Brady and Elway instead of the other QB's around his draft class? Good or bad for him that would at least be fair. He's 3rd year, not 10th.
To be compared with QBs as bad as Timmy....youd have to dig down into.Tyler Palko areas or even WORSE Sent from my SGH-T679 using Tapatalk 2
I meant more along the lines of factual stats from qb's around his draft class not personal opinion. Again, good or bad it would at least be fair towards the dude. It's ok not to like someone but he is on the team, has some wins as a starting nfl qb, and is young in the game with potential for growth.
The idea of comparing him to Blaine Gabbert makes them uncomfortable, because it reminds them of how rough most QB's have it in their first few years in the league.
Absolutely! Otherwise no one would ever have known the reason Manning >>>> Tebow is because Tebow is learning MMA at Gracie gym in NYC, while Manning is getting better at the QB position by using new Ipad technology supplied by the Broncos. Thanks so much to metsnjets for the insight!
