Does Howard bring up the ball for Orlando, Does kobe for LA ? What a crazy question lol...

He Should bring up the rock hes The POINT GUARD for that team.

"running the offense" and " the offense running through them" is two different things..

Howard is not a point guard so what is your point?

Also, did that kid turn out to be yours? Don't leave us hanging anymore. It has been years.

Westbrook is a point guard and good one. He is athletic and more explosive than most point guards, that doesn't mean he is better at a 2 guard. You see Westbrook ever run off the ball screens and catch and shoot like a "2" guard? No. He is a really really good point guard. One of the reasons people think he doesn't pass the ball to Durant enough is because Durant is average at getting to his spot without picks or screens. He gets pushed off his spot too much and catches the ball outside the 3 point line too much.

Westbrook is a point guard, and a top 5 or top 7 at worst

The offense runs through Dwight Howard but Jameer Nelson brings up the rock. That was my point, bring up the rock doesnt mean anything. Shit, Steve blake brings up the rock for The Lakers and we both know .

Lol yah man all mine.. big guy now and quite the hassle but thats my dude. His mom is dickhead though thats another story.. and thanks for asking man..

See, I would say the offense runs through both Westbrook and Durant.

Part of being a point guard is directing the offense and bringing the ball up the court after gaining possession. It is part of the job description of a point guard.

Westbrook is not a traditional point guard because he shoots so often. I'll give you that. He's still a point guard, though.

Cool on the kid. Once or twice I bumped that thread and you didn't respond. Maybe just did not see it. My kid will be 3 in a couple weeks.

nah, i think lin is overrated too. the nets wont get howard, they simply dont have the parts and will be in the same cap hell as the knicks. even if the nets get dwight howard no one is jumping on that bandwagon. if theres one team that all of new york can unite and complain about, its the knicks.

tough guy on the internet over here. seriously think about it.

    1. D Will had one of the best coaches in the history of the NBA fired because hes a cry baby
    2. Couldnt get the nets anywhere near .500 when old man Nash was able to do it with a way more limited roster (Marshon Brooks/Brook Lopez/Gerald Wallace are way more pieces to work with)
    3. Fuck the Nets, no one really gives a shit about them. Their greatest franchise player decided to sign with the knicks. that speaks volumes of the franchise.

i agree that hes top 10. but if he was the floor general he's supposed to be the nets would have had close to .500 record.

    my top 5 are
    CP3
    Rondo
    Rose
    Tony Parker
    Nash

Ive been thinking a lot about this upcoming roster and how it may form out to be, and honestly I cant determine whats a better lineup for the Nets going into next season.

    Line-up A:

    PG: DWill/Fisher/Taylor
    SG: JJ/Brooks
    SF: Wallace/Green
    PF: Illy/Tele/Evans
C: Lopez/Shelden Williams (or vet min FA)

    or

    Line-up B:
PG: DWill/ Vet min FA (could include Fisher)/Taylor
SG: JJ/ Jason Richardson (cap relief for Orlando)
    SF: Wallace/ vet min FA
    PF: Tele/Evans
    C: Howard/ vet min FA

Both lineups are possible, but honestly its a tough one to choose. The first is filled with depth and potential while the other doesnt have any depth but the starting 5 is excellent and can stop the Heat.

In my opinion, Number 2 is better if you can stay healthy. Would Richardson come over or would Hedo? Number 2 might not do as good as expected during the regular season and only become a 4-5 seed BUT come playoff time when rotations shorten they become much better. Also depends when Dwight comes over

I would think Hedo would be included over Richardson.

    Unreal.....

The Nets had the worst injury list of any team by far last season. How can you say he had Lopez (5 games) & Wallace (16 games) to work with when they weren't there for most of the season is beyond me. If you backed your argument with facts I could understand it. Right now your saying because Williams had Brooks to work with he should've got the team over .500.

Williams scored the most points in a single game last season & most assists in a single game also, which hasn't been done by the same player in years. Williams had 57 points versus the Bobcats & 20 assists versus the Warriors.

He played with complete trash for the entire season and still made the all star team.

For all you Knicks fans that aren't worried, consider this. Williams tore apart the Knicks in the middle of Linsanity with all their 'stars' playing and he did it solo. Just to show the lineups for that game at MSG:

    Williams
    Brooks
    Stevenson
    Hump
    S Williams

    vs

    Lin
    Fields
    Melo
    Stat
    Chandler

Now if Williams can win a game on his own versus the Knicks in their house in the middle of the Lin hype, just imagine what they'll do with Johnson, Wallace, Lopez & Teletovic added. I'll not even talk about what'll happen if Howard gets to the Nets, which is a real possibility & something I believe will happen soon.

If I were the Knicks I'd be afraid, Brooklyn's taking over!!!

And Knicks beat the Nets with Lin off the bench and he tore up Deron. Are we really going to take one game samples and again a game with D'Antoni coaching? Deron Williams was on fire. If you expect him to hit 8 threes a game and drop 38 a game, I have a bridge to sell you. And in it was Melo's first game back from his groin injury too. In fact he went 0-7 in his last game from 3 so I lost my fantasy basketball matchup. All he had to do was hit one 3 pointer and he couldn't hit one.

The Knicks also had bad luck with injuries. Amere, Melo, Chandler, Lin, Shumpert (the starting 5) Jeffries, Baron Davis, Shumpert again, Amare again because he was dumb, Chandler with the flu. And they had a coaching change mid season.

Right now the Nets and Knicks are pretty much even in my mind (assuming the Knicks match for Novak and Lin and Nets for Lopez). The Nets have a slight advantage to start the season because of Shumpert being hurt but the Knicks will even that when Shumpert gets back.

If the Nets get Howard, they jump to the second best team in the East behind Miami. The Knicks and Nets currently have a real good opportunity to be a 4/5 or 5/4 matchup in the East. Of course so many things can change from now til next April.

Sounds like the Nets may have found the 3rd team to take Kris Humphries to make the Dwight deal a reality. They are talking with Cleveland and Philly.
