I'd like to see this happen. We are IMO, in desperate need of a solid blocking TE.

I think he would be a great pickup. Rolling out a 2-TE set with him & Keller wouldn't be a giveaway about what we're running since he is a capable receiver and a good run blocker.

Definitely would be a good #2 tight end while guys like Cumberland, Baker, and Smith continue to develop

I just can't see the Dolphins releasing him. I would love to have him, but I don't think it's gonna happen.

Great blocker, decent receiver. The only problem I ever had with him was that he would stupidly try to hurdle defenders

fasano would be a great adiition but Do we have the $ to sign him if he gets released? He's certainly not going to get $3.6 mill, but even half of that might be too much.

I think this addition would really help our offense and would give it more stability. I dont think he’s going to be cut though...

I definitely think we are going to be signing a TE, wether it be Visante Shiancoe or if Fasano is cut; we still have 3 roster spots open.

If he's released, the Pats will probably sign him. They seem to be hoarding tight ends.

Not going to lie, I love when players attempt doing that. It's hilarious when it fails

This would be pretty damn incredible.

He was at or near the very top of my list for FA acquistions this offseason. I had just presumed him getting cut was a done deal.

I'm not sure if they KNOW the Jets will sign him and that's why they're waiting till the last minute, or if they actually plan on using him.

Eitherway he would easily be worth 3m/yr without question. And it gives us leverege with DK as well

good blocking TEs are always a nice asset to have. Now, I have never heard of Fasano being a dick to Dolphags, so it stands to reason that, Dolphags will not sabotage him. Thus, if he does not fit the new offensive scheme, the next thing is trading him out of the division. Unless he stays on Dolphags squad next season, I see him traded out of AFC East. (Him coming to NY - will hurt the phags a lot.)

Its not exactly easy to trade a TE who isnt a very good receiving threat and is due 4 million dollars this season.

This I did not know - that might trump the deal.

  20. He would be a fantastic acquisition.Just as good of a blocker as Hartsock was, and a much better receiver.Good compliment to Keller as well. That 3rd string TE spot would be a dogfight between Cumberland, Baker, & Smith.
