I thought it was out of left field a bit...I understand his viewpoint as a former Bills great and the opener being against the Jets but...maybe he should've kept this local or in the locker room...not what u usually hear from a former player
I just read what Kelly said for the 1st time. Sounds to me he hopes Tebow is the starter because he know they can't beat the Jets with Sanchez. Sanchez is 5-1 against his beloved Bills.
The Toronto Buffoonalos are this years in media favorite team...adding Mario Williams is going to magically transform the annual pumpkins of the division into Cinderellas golden carriage After all....look at all those playoff wins Mario delivered in Houston...and look at Mark Fitzharvards spectacular winning record As for Kelly it is nice for the Bills that the icon of their franchise is still a supportive fan unlike the bitter old icon of the Jet franchise who spends every week bashing them for drinking money from espn local radio on the Kay show Sent from my SGH-T679 using Tapatalk 2
stupid comment, from an irrelevant person that could explode in our face if Sanchez doesn't get his shit together
He's just being a Buffalo homer; and even with the hoopla surrounding the Super Mario signing, that team is always one step away from moving to Toronto.
honestly, I liked it a lot better when the Bills ruled the division than they way its been the last ten years.
I actually respect him for speaking honestly. What did you expect him to say? "I hope the Sanchez/Tebow combo helps the Jets destroy the Bills and the rest of the league for years to come." Are we as Jets fans thinking "damn I hope the combo of Fitz, Young & Thigpen create a dominant and harmonious locker room for the Bills". At least he spoke as a fan, and told his true feelings, as opposed to the ex-players & analysts on ESPN & NFL Network that are rooting for the Jets QB situation to melt down so that they have something to talk (laugh) about on tv. You know they are all just waiting to scream "I TOLD YOU SO".
He made it clear he was speaking as a fan and "hoped" the locker room would split during camp because the Bills open with the Jets. Shocker....... He was not making a prediction. He did point out the pressure that was on Sanchez but there are a lot of NFL QBs that are looking over their shoulders every season. He will handle the pressure or he won't and that will be on Sanchez.
