NFL Game Rewind is going to have coaches film available for every snap! Also, it will be compatable with tablets and iPhones! I don't know about you guys but my life is complete.... Sounds a little more sad when I say that out loud lol.
I'm a football junkie so I will appreciate this. I re-watched every loss of the 2011 season  It had to be done.
The only loss ive ever rewatched was the 2009 AFC Championship only because despite losing, it was a huge step in the right direction and it did have its high points. The 2010 AFC Championship I am finally over and am ready to rewatch it. Took over a year but I would rewatch it if I had the chance.
They desperately need to add support for streaming devices, IE xbox 360/ps3. If amazon streaming, netflix, hockey, and baseball can do it. the nfl HAS to catch the hell up
I hope this leads to some great NFL writing on the internet now. Any blogger or fan get really analyze every play and possession better. Can lead to much more informational and better writing. We can finally see what Revis lets the defense do, how the DL while not acquiring stats opens holes, routes being run, etc etc
Agreed. More access can only lead to better analysis. What the hell will ESPN do when they are still talking about QB rating and "amateur" bloggers are doing real football analysis
No, what it means is that every game will have the single angle overhead view available for fans online. You can go back and watch each game, and each play with a full view of the field, instead of how the camera is focused only on the ball for TV viewers. You will actually be able to see Revis' coverage on every play, even when the ball isn't passed toward him. you can see the full routes of every receiver, and you can truly see each play unfold. if you are watching on tv, all you can see is the ball carrier or receiver.
Nah I wanted to watch the film with no emotion to get a better understanding of what went wrong last year. I recommend everyone do that.
I don't know if you've heard any of the "experts" takes on this, but they're claiming it's a bad thing. They're saying things like fans aren't knowledgable enough and will second-guess bad decisions based on what they see. I agree with you though; They're probably only saying that to save their own asses because 90% of experts don't have the slightest grasp of the game (and use stats to prove their points... stats are a liar's best friend).
I feel like I can't get a true grasp of the game without this, and have been wishing for exactly this for a while now. I definitely understand the game of football, but there is just no way to trully see what goes down on the field without this, half the time at games it's tough to tell which player is actually on the field. This just opens up a universe of understanding of NFL level football, something that I very much enjoy. I know it's not for everyone, some people just aren't that into breaking down the game. Just good news for those who wish they showed more coaches film on espn. I agree that most "analysts" don't know cover two from a man blitz, and that those with real understanding don't sit around saying whatever BS espn tells them to spout off.
