It's not just Rex and players. Walker has it in the AFC East Blog today. http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/43425/notes-from-jets-minicamp
Man I'm really praying he turns out to be the real deal. With our secondary the way it is, a dominant pass rush from him and/or Wilkerson takes this defense from very good to elite overnight.
Oh and for the record, the Bills fans on this thread (and forum for that matter) are some of the most miserable fucks I've ever seen.
So wrong on every account. 1. Ghost impressed his own peers - ghosts. 2. Jets didn't even have OTAs and training camp last year.
For those of you who remember specifically, what exactly made Gholston so bad? Was he just not an intelligent player regardless of how hard he tried, or did he just not put in any effort to be good whatsoever?
bro....rex continues to big up these players that really have no upside...like hunter and ducasse...maybe im speaking too soon on coples but we'll see rex needs to discipline and focus on the cancer that is santonio holmes
"cooterhooter" <---- er, awesome username there 'cooter' Buffalo Bills "Winning Seasons" the past TWELVE seasons: 2000: Nope 2001: Nope 2002: Nope 2003: Nope 2004: Yes (9-7) 2005: Nope 2006: Nope 2007: Nope 2008: Nope 2009: Nope 2010: Nope 2011: Nope A lot of nope ya' dope.
Turned your "Jet Draft Blunder" video off only 0:14 seconds into it when I heard "...with their 1st pick, the NY Jets select UCLA RB, Freeman McNeil" - 12 NFL seasons - 8,000+ yds. - 4.5 yards per carry career average - 3-time All-Pro selection - 200+ yards rushing in playoff win on road against defending AFC champs Some career.....some "blunder" there, coooter. Oh and the Bills haven't had some major whiffs? Mike Williams? J.P. Loesman in '04? (via their disasterous trading of their 1st round '05 pick--this for a QB from a modern-day perennial doormat, Tulane). Remember the John McCargo pick (when everyone had them grabbing Ngata who was staring them in the face)? Aaron Maybin? Hell, at least the Jets squeezed 6 sacks out of the runt..... let's also not forget immortal Indiana Hoosier WR James Hardy .....
Also, Mike Nugent was not a first rounder. Facts are hard concepts. The fan base that wets their pants for 3 months over a 100MM$ contract for an oft injured pass rusher, tells us to damper our excitement when our guy makes plays on the practice field. Ok.
Chan Gailey at his best. Start off strong. Fizzle somewhere in the middle. Disappear at the end. That's exactly how it was like with Bills last year too, right?
When was the last time RR saying a first round pick hit the ground running in the OTAs? Try Sanchez, Wilson, Wilkerson and now Couples.
How have the Jets done vs the Texans with the unstoppable Maria Williams on their roster ?? Now we are supposed to be frightened that he's moved to a worse team in Torontalo??? Sent from my SGH-T679 using Tapatalk 2
