    Awesome. I don't even like hockey but glad he's rooting for home state team.

    What a thrill it might be to sit down at an event and have this guy within ears distance from you.

    When I saw him on TV I cheered "That's my coach"

    and my cousins (Giants Fans) they grilled at me and laughed :)

    He's a huge hockey fan. And he's also a huge jerseys guy. I'm sure he's got a ton of hockey jerseys. I've seen him at a hand full of Ranger games.

    I live outside of Toronto and there was an interview with him in the local paper where he said he grew up as a Toronto Maple Leafs (he lived in Toronto for over a decade) and Rangers fan. The article is here.

    I actually met the big guy walking out after the game. Let him know my Super Bowl expectations. Definitely made the loss hurt a lot less.

    That's awesome.

    Seems like Rex is just a hockey fan in general, supports all the local teams. Being a transplant, there's nothing wrong with that, in my opinion.
