The throwbacks they wore for the lst decade said New York on them too.

I never saw them play in NY so I grew up in the 80s when they had the ones you posted, I love the Drazen era uni's too.

Those logos aren't particularly ugly or bad, they're just very boring

I was torn but I think I'm gonna stay with the Nets even after they moved away. At first I was just gonna pick a random team but then that random team got good so I can't do it. Living in Vegas the local teams were the Clippers/Lakers/Warriors/Jazz and Suns so of course I picked the Clippers and well then Sterling decided to try and win so they're out. It's all BK for me now

Are these the uni's you liked?

    Or these ones?

The first one, not the original ones that looked like clouds. I like the one w/ the solid blue.

The draft lottery is tonight. Nets have a 25% chance of a top three pick. Outside of that and they get nothing... all for Gerald Wallace.

I feel like they might get "lucky".

Doesn't change so much because they lose a #1 regardless. That just decides whether they lose it this year or next.

Obviously top 3 they would be hoping for in general, but they could theoretically keep this pick and lose a high pick next year.

    From the trade article:

I thought they might go back to this, since it has New York roots and recalls some glory days with Dr J. In my opinion that is the best part of the Nets history, all the cheesy NJ logos and uniforms never cut it for me. Granted I'm a Knicks fan but I'm also a Jersey guy, Devils and Seton Hall fan. Part of me always wanted the Nets to do well for Jersey, a small part.

well the word on the street is Anthony Davis for Dwight will get that trade done. Deron Williams is not teaming up to play with Davis.

So its a move that Nets will have to make

Rigged this was rigged to the core. I seen this coming, Hornets were getting the #1 pick because they are still trying to sell a big chunk of the team.

If it was truly rigged it would of been, 1. Hornets 2. Bobcats 3. Nets

Hornets get the #1 pick for purchasing the team, Bobcats get a solid player to get fans in the seats, the Nets get to use #3 in a trade for Howard instantly making them a big time team in the NBA plus ticket sales skyrocket.

The Brooklyn Nets will suck for the next three or so years and we can all thank Billy King!

Sadly I think you are right, and I always feel like the lottery is rigged. If not show the actual ping pong balls being drawn like the lottery.

Now we probably have to go back to the 3 team trade.

    Maybe with the Cavs?

Cavs receive: Lopez, Nets 2015 1st round pick (top 14 protected)
Nets receive: Howard, Turkoglu, Luke Walton, Cavs 2013 2nd round pick
Magic receive: #4 pick, Marshon Brooks, Jordan Williams, Rockets first round pick in 2013 (top 14 protected), and Nets first round picks in 2013+2014.

Why the Cavs do it?: The Cavs need a Center and at #4 they arent getting one of Lopez's skill level. They could get a solid wing scorer like Bradley Beal or pair Mike Gilchrist back with Kyrie Irving (high school teammates) but they maybe gone by 4. Getting Lopez, freeing up 5.8 million dollars, and a future draft pick is excellent for a young upcoming team.

Why the Nets do it?: Well this is obvious, they get the player we all know they want, Dwight Howard. Although they're giving up a lot of draft picks, a young talent in Brooks, and taking on cap space, a chance to have Deron and Dwight on the same team is just too hard to pass up. In 2013, the Nets can be free of Luke Walton and Hedo (buyout), and continue to build a Championship roster.

Why the Magic do it?: They have to admit to there selves if they havent already that Dwight is leaving. They need to get the best haul they can while Dwight demands a trade to the Nets only. Freeing 11.5 million in cap sapce. Getting Marshon Brooks an excellent young talent at SG, the #4 pick who could turn into someone like MKG, Drummond, or Harrison Barnes all who can contribute in the future. Plus they get the Jordan Williams, the Nets Rockets pick, and 2 future picks. Its a solid haul for a team that could of ended up with zero.

"The drawing of the ping-pong balls is conducted in private, though observed by independent auditors and representatives from each team."

Dunno why people think its rigged...
