Finally a tackle that can help get rid of Hunter. If either of these guys can walk and chew gum at the same time they will be an upgrade over Hunter. No one is more happier than Sanchez and especially Tebow because that is his blindside.
Whether they're being brought in as depth or to compete for a starting spot it's a good move either way - the more options the better at this point.
Hunter is still going nowhere..get that set in your minds and stop wishing for it. His salary is guaranteed thanks to your walks on water GM and there is no way they are just going to throw 2.5 million away and cut him.
Depth is good. Don't count Hunter out yet....with the new offensive schemes where you do not call audibles 90% of the time but you stay with your game plan Hunter might get back to 2010 form or better.
Congratulations you finally did something about the complete lack of depth on your OL. I don't know much about these guys except what's been reported, but they have been good enough to have hung around the league for a few years and have experienced some actual playing time. Before today the Jets couldn't say that about their back up OLmen Given that they couldn't crack the starting line ups of the teams they played for recently they are unlikely to be serious threats to Hunter. But as much needed depth they certainly can help.
camp fodder.maybe willis sticks since he can play guard and tackle, but i don't see either being an upgrade
I know zilch about either one of these guys but I know enough about our OFF Line that we need depth because we have none ! If one or both of these guys can play,,,GREAT ,,,IF they cannot then we stilll need some guys who can play. ps I know enough about Wayne Hunter to know if these guys can't beat him out of a job then they must both blow
Awesome. This is great to hear. I agree this is great depth for our o line. Does anybody know why we haven't gone after mckenzie?/?
The competition at RT will be to see who can get the QB sacked the fastest. This is not a solution but at least it some acknowledgment that something needed to be done. But in my opinion, it should have been more that was done.
