yeah the team is spent. They need to find that next gear, stat, because it doesn't get any easier after they dispose of New Jersey

Staal and Del Zotto actually have nice shots, but they never seem to let them fly. The only one who ever shoots from the point is Girardi, and he couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat. I can probably count on two hands the number of times last series Emrick said, "Girardi FIRESSS, wide off the boards.

The one encouraging thing from last night was the second period. When we switch it to the next gear the Devils can't do shit against us. I expect to see more of that level on Sat. when we're better rested.

I kind of get your point but if the Ranger D had no names and nnumbers, are you sure you culdnt tell McD from Girardi or Staal from MDZ? There are size and speed differentiaters in play here

    My take on last night..

Rangers got out worked by the Devils, sloppy play whiffing on the puck multiple times, Rangers have to be better in the zone then that.

With all that said, Hank is solid as always, it takes re-directions to beat him, can't score on regular shots.

Marty was good, but not un-beatable. Krider off the post, and someone else hit the post on a wrap around.

Game 3 Rangers have to come out guns blazing and score first. I expect them to be well rested.

    yeah sure ; )

I think there was a subtle dig in there

anyways, 1-1, onto a few more games of extreme stress

Fair enough, but you don't think their style of play is practically identical? A team does not block 24 shots a game with varried defensive styles at the point.

Jonny the sky is falling, one game bro, we will still win...by the way my son held the mike for the reporters questioning Brodeur after the game and he couldn't believe what a douchebag he is, what did you think of the penalty box door Marty, it's typical for this place, the ice is horrible, the whole place is terrible what about Staal's goal, terrible boards, that # 21 what's his name, Stepan didn't score I put it in myself...jackass...

Exactly eyedea, the sky isn't falling, it's 1-1, win one game in Jersey and we have the home ice back...

Trust me watching the last few seconds during the two last face-offs
I was like not another 0.6 sec score.
But that didn't happen, I expect a couple of more stroke filled moments

SWEET BABY JESUS ! I knew it !

The D men are hardly the problem........maybe getting a 6th on the ice that can be trusted, but the other 5 are amongst the best core in the league, not sure how much more you can ask for from them. DZ should shoot more, skates well can make plays, same with Staal who is also solid stay at home, Girardi solid D man with a penchant for big goals in the playoffs so far ( and a few turnovers too)..McD, love the guy. Stralman, so so, but also has a few big goals. The problem lies in the lack of dynamic play from the forwards in my opinion.

    LOL!

tip-ins, re-directions, and deflections have been a part of this game since you were a baby smurf. They're more impressive than regular shots (as you put it).

Rangers can win on the road anywhere, we seen that through two rounds. Despite all the bullshit from the Devil's "only sell to Devils fans" I am sure we see a lot of blue in the crowed.

I expect another war, most likely it will be 2-2 going back to NY. If Gabby, Richards, Calli can put a few home, I like our chances.

We knew going into this it was not going to be much different the 94, Devils are solid and got to this point for a reason.

I have a lot of friends crying about that Clarkson goal.. not a high stick! close but no cigar.

Stop bitching move on and LGR!

It's the only way beat Hank, unless you go high glove on a PP. but the guy has to be wide open.

    I totally get it.

You made an even better point which I said to my buddy last night.

I'd rather block 5 or 6 less shots a night since we fucking have Henry in net anyway and maybe concentrate on a little more offense.

Callahan is obsessed with the shot block. UNfortunately, he has contributed less than zero on offense for two weeks now.
