those tatoos he has really creep me out, what has he done to make them stick out like that? i have seen a lot of tat's in my time, but none like that? is that the new fad or something?
Agreed! Its really getting to be too much with some of these guys! I trust that REX knows what he has to do to develop a very talented guy. He also knows that he wanted to look at other prospects and already knew what his prized pupli is capable of! end of story!
its a brand that has scar tissue on it - and I agree it looks horrible - now he has some cash hopefully he can get a lot of that scar tissue removed. A friend of mine had a car crash when he was in his early teens that resulted in a load of keloid scar tissue forming on his forehead and they were able to remove the majority of it. http://www.nhs.uk/Livewell/skin/Pages/Keloidscarring.aspx
Thats it. LETS NEVER DRAFT ANYONE EVER AGAIN. That way no one can be a bust... Shame on this organization for picking a player they had highly rated. God, some people on this board are just sickening... Oh well.
Oh its not even a small group, its just him, living in his stupidity. I'd just LOVE to here why he thinks Coples will be a bust, one GOOD reason, and I'll get off his case. I know you're probably even reading this srqman, so lets here it?
Agreed. what's the story gonna be tomorrow? Mark Sanchez caught going to the bathroom with the door open?
It sticks out because it's a brand, like they do to cattle, not a tattoo. Every member of that particular fraternity gets branded, though his is the worst case of it I've ever seen.
If you want my serious answer, I really think he's going to bust because he demonstrated a severe lack of motor in the year before entering the NFL draft. he's got the physical tools to be an all-pro, but 90% of good defensive play comes from attitude. It's the reason why Gholston never panned out - if you don't have the drive and intensity to learn your position and make plays, all the physical talent in the world goes to waste. I seriously, seriously hope I'm wrong and wish that Coples surprises me. But until then, forgive me if I'm still burned from the Gholston disaster. Happy?
Question? Before you even heard about Coples during draft week did you actually watch Coples? If so, did you watch him last year? I will admit, Coples did take SOME plays "off" but if you've ever watched the kid you see time and time again him beating offensive lineman left and right. Lining up at DT and DE, he was effective. He has the ability to be a pro bowler in his second year, I truly believe that, but to call him "Gholston" is plain wrong. Gholston didnt love the game, that was his problem, he never wanted to be on the field for 30 or so minutes a game. Coples just had a slight motor problem but no way in hell did he not love what he was doing. In countless interviews with scouts or with the media, they all say it is clear to them that he loves the game of football. This "stigma" of his being lazy is extremely over played. Like I said, I suggest you watch some of his games (not highlights), and truly tell me if he seemed "lazy" a whole game. You maybe "burned" from Gholston but that's no excuse for lack of judgement/analysis on a player that I doubt you have fully watched and studied as I have.
That is the most correct thing anyone has posted, other than the Pennington Sanchez Penis joke made a few months ago.
