Here's Cimini's latest tweet from the minicamp.

I have a feeling that Sparano is going to be a great leader for the offense. I think he's the type of guy that if he senses there's an issue between players, he's going to deal with it quickly and make sure things don't linger. I think he'll command more respect than Schotty too.

Here's a pretty funny tweet from Manish:

Forget the playbook, somebody get this guy a rule book.

RichCimini Quinton Coples plays bigger than you'd think. Looks to be more power rusher than speed. Maybe that's why best production came as DT. #Jets

KristianRDyer Offensive line overmatched against Coples. Rex's comparison to Shaun Ellis...it's early but can see glimpses.

granted he's going up against a bunch of no-names, but at least he's dominating the guys he's supposed to ...

edit: oops - meant to add that to the previous post, not reply to myself. lol.

Win the matchups that you're supposed to win. Something that has eluded this team for a few years now

Per GotSportsBlogs: Highlights of NYJets first day @FlightPhase (John Grffin) n Coples flashes of brilliance, @StephenHill diving grab, n Adams break up pass against Hill.

John Griffin could be a nice sleeper at the RB position...

I hope so. I think the most significant gain of the offseason has been the loss of Schotty.

Jets gave Coples 10 DVDs of their defensive front vs. '11 opponents. He watched it all in 5 days. "A part of being great," he said.

Does watching a bunch of DVD's really mean he's NOT lazy? I mean, I don't buy into that shit to begin with but I don't see how watching a bunch of DVD's means you're not lazy. I'd love to watch 10 DVD's about football in 5 days.

These 3 are great. ''FINISH HIM AUSSIE!" - I'm imagining Sparano doing the voiceovers for Mortal Combat as Hayden Smith cracks the guys back in half and rips out his spinal column...
