Imagine if you had something better to do than troll on other teams message boards. /It's easy if you try
When was this? Is this recently or from a few years ago? Because if that's really a 2 month gain, than he 100 % took steroids.
I understand the importance of being the right size to be an everydown OLB. But that wasn't Maybin's only problem last year, even if it was a part of it. He's also not had much experience/knowledge making a real contribution in rushing D. Putting on weight does not solve that problem. Not by itself.
WTF is drolling? There was an article last year either by Manish or Serby that went into great detail about his medical situation and his personal family relationships etc. I googled but could not find. His metabolic rate is at a rediculous level and he can't keep the weight on. He was 252 just at the time of the draft. Last year he had Pneumonia and dropped down to 216 just before TC with the Bills. He's been working with Jets medical staff and outside trainers trying to put and keep weight on. He has an extremely hard time putting and maintaining weight. Expect Maybin to drop 10 pounds once TC starts with the Jets. I remember the article, but I can't find it either. I think his speed is an advantage. While his movable power due to his smaller frame works against him when up agianst 300lbs OLinemen, his counter speed is a hugh advantage. His ability to improve will be because of a full training camp and offseason working with the Jets. You will see a more involved Maybin because of a proper offseason, OTA, and TCs rather than a 20lbs gain in muscle. Oh and Bill over Jets is definitely a troll.:buffaloblows:
You can tell he's never going to be able to keep it on. That's just the way he is. Better find a role for a 220 lb athletic player - like strong safety.
Remember reading an interview transcript where Maybin said some of the points "Bills Over Jets" brought up. Maybin has struggled to put on weight & keep it on for years. Simply taking in more calories is how most of us would gain weight but I don't think that's the solution for Maybin. He'll need to pack on pounds and a lot of it needs to be muscle. As long as Maybin is cheap, it's great to keep him on the roster as strictly a pass rush specialist so it's not a total loss for the Jets. If he stays the same weight as last season, there's still a chance that he'll get more playing time. Coples & Sophmore-Wilkerson should be commanding more OL attention than last year's DL.
There was also specualtion over those pics that he may have been roiding lol It happened in less than 2 months if I'm not mistaken.I posted these the week we got him.
If you dont have a source dont come posting fag. I hope you dont show me dick cause I dont swing that way. We dont need Bills, Gaytriot or Gay Shark fans coming here telling us we suck. Thanks though.
He's nearing the age where the metabolism will start to slow down a bit. That might help him keep some of the weight on. I'd be happy with him at 235-240 this year and 245-255 next.
Lol, not always. God the lack of knowledge about weight lifting/dieting in this thread is frightening. No wonder America is so fat.
I agree, but don't you think 30 lbs in a few months is a lot? I may be a bad example but I've been lifting heavily (and properly) for the last two years and I have only gained 10 lbs. I eat like an absolute monster all the time, and even more so when I smoke grass which is quite often, I can honestly say I can't possibly eat anymore than I do. I eat well too, I suppose I could still up my protein intake (i get plenty of carbs and fats too) but regardless, 2 years and only 10 lbs! In my defense I do look a lot bigger and the difference over the last 2 years is very noticeable, especially to people who haven't seen me in a while, but the point is, how on earth can you put on that much weight in such short time without doing steroids?
Aaron Maybin might not be able to keep all the weight on but I don't expect it to drop off him like it did with the Bills. 1. Just because it happened to him once so he might no what to expect. 2. Because he is older. When you get older you bulk up a bit naturally. What was he 22 when he couldn't keep the weight on. Im almost 23 now and with casually working out for years now I suddenly gained 15 pounds. If Maybin hits 250 and later in the season drops to 240 but stays there that is head and shoulders above 225.
why is anyone acknowledging what a Bills fan is posting on a jets forum? the fact that he's on this site speaks volumes of what a miserable person he is
