I thought you actually knew football until I read this. The Jets have 2 pro bowlers, and the rest of the line is pure shit.

The Bills have 5 solid starters all the way across the board, and there is not an NFL team with a better interior than the Bills (LG-C-RG).

The problem with the Bills line was always depth. This draft, we added Cordy Glenn, Zebrie Sanders, and some bad ass mofo guard/center from Oregon. Combine that with Rinehart, who could start for most teams in this league, and the Bills have one of the best lines in football.

You lost credit for this post.

Explain to me how the line this year allowed that when there hasn't been any games?

    Look.

Bills allowed the least amount of sacks last season. (23) Fitzpatrick took 22 of it.

And what did that protection lead you to? Oh, by the way, Sanchez was sacked 39 times last season, but threw MORE TD passes (Sanchez: 26, Fitzpatrick:24) and LESS interceptions (Sanchez: 18, Fitzpatrick: 23) than your QB, despite the public enemy and moron #1 named Brian Schottenheimer and the constant pressure he had to deal with all season long.

If Jets are in for Barf for Barkley sweepstakes with this kind of performances, what does that mean for your team then?

P.S. This is a message to fellow Jets fans too. If you think Sanchez sucks, watch the Bills. And they dropped 60M on their QB last season, 24M guaranteed.

Kurt, with all due respect, you don't allow the minimum number of sacks in the entire league with a bullshit QB behind the center by being mediocre. (Which is what the Bills OL achieved last season.) True, Jets had a moron as the OC for the past half decade but imagine how Sanchez could have done better if he could manage just 22 sacks all season. (That's about 17 less than what he had to go through, not counting the other illegal hits and late hits).

I was thinking the same thing, Wilkerson was our best #1 pick since Revis. I will take that production from every # 1.

Ouch that's painful to read. There's no questioning Fitzpatrick is smart, but he made a GENIUS decision to sign in Buffalo when he did - anywhere else and theres a good chance he'd be out of the league by now instead hes got that monster contract.

Remind me again, when was the last time the Jills finished ahead of of the Jets?

The Jills have been sucking longer and harder than the entire ensemble employed by the Moonlight Bunny Ranch....

The Jets have a playoff winning QB penned in at the BACKUP spot. The Bills have a 50 million dollar investment in a four game wonder, and you're talking $#it?

Bullshit. The Jets have Mangold at center (one of the best if not THE best in the game today), and then Moore and Slauson at guards. Moore is a pro bowler and Slauson is solid. No way the Bills have a better front 3 than us. Slauson played with multiple injuries for a large part of the season last year as well, but all in all he's really come around and I expect big things next year.

    QFT :rofl2:

Yeah, some GM. Think of how far back that sets the organization. And for the forseeable future they'll be JUST GOOD ENOUGH to stay out of the top 10 in the draft.

That contract cost the team a Decade.

Mangold is one of the best.

Moore won the voting contest because he has the city of NY behind him and no other fans either know any other guards in the league nor do they give a shit.

Slauson is average if not below average.

Check out any pro writers on Levitre. He was pro bowl bound before he had to move to LT because of injury, then center because of injury. He was known as one of the best guards in all of the NFL.

Wood is right there too, he just keeps getting injured. Urbik is above average and an elite pass blocker.

  15. Really? Cause the jets had 3 pro bowlers..not 2. Moore,Brick & Mangold all made it.

Quit talking out of your ass.

  16. Seriously...alot of inbreeding going on in upstate god's country..that's for sure. They'll be back on the thorozine by Thanksgiving. No matter.

Don't you know the entire city of NY is the only place that cares about their offensive guard? Don't you remember all those people occupying Zuccotti Park with their laptops getting people to vote for Brandon Moore's Pro Bowl campaign??

Poor Kraig Urpik he's at such a disadvantage with the 99% against him...

Correct me if Im wrong, but wasn't Sparano an O-Line coach? So I'm sure that whoever starts RT next year will be better than this seasons. Also he can help our entire line cus if you really think about it, no one on the line did good this past season other than probably Moore.

I do not consider Moore elite, I don't care that he was voted in a popularity contest. People have been voted in because of their name when fans don't even watch them play. O-Line is the biggest example of that.

IMO, there's not even a question that Levitre and Wood are better. The real question is, is Urbik or Rinehart better?

Jets fans will say no. I will say yes.

We should concede that Moore's going to the Pro Bowl as an alternate did not mean he is an elite OG. Slighty to somewhat above average, but also showing his age.
